Was visiting the area from Tennessee we could smell the restaurant from outside the shopping area where its located so had to check it out. Great food and awesome atmosphere. The burger was juicy and amazing and the fries were crispy and delicious. You can tell its quality ingredients. The staff were courteous and respectful and checked on us and were genuinely interested in our experience and making it the best they could. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for one of the best burgers around.

Not A Damn Chance Burger. Yup, that's the actual name of the spot. And honestly, there's not a damn chance I'm not talking about it after that burger I just had. I was hosted for this meal, but trust me, my taste buds don't lie. This joint took over the old Crisp build-your-own salad bar spot inside the Alley formerly known as Latta Arcade. Don't worry, salad fans...Crisp didn't die. They just moved a few feet over into the courtyard, where they can toss their kale in peace while the rest of us are over here smashing Wagyu. NADC is owned by pro skater Neen Williams, who apparently can also land tricks on a flat-top grill. This burger is so good it should have its own highlight reel. When you step into NADC, the smell of sizzling Wagyu launches at you like a skateboard aimed at a ramp someone definitely shouldn't have built. It clings to your hoodie, your hair, your soul. By the time you get home, you'll smell like you just filmed a Jackass special titled Beefed Up. The interior leans skate-shop-meets-burger-joint with red metal chairs, cheeky art on the walls, and a mural that looks like a cheeseburger monster is about to stage dive. The music is loud, the energy is casual, and the vibe is very much "come as you are, leave smelling like beef." The menu is refreshingly uncomplicated. One burger (or two if you count the kids' cheeseburger), fries (plain or Beast Mode), and a cookie for dessert. * NADC Burger: $16, two 3 oz patties of 100% Wagyu beef * Fries: $5 plain or $8 Beast Mode * Cookie: $4 They claim their NADC Burger is two 3 oz smash patties. Like most smash burger places, they claim a smash burger but fail to completely smash the burger into the flattop for that crispy lacy sear where you technically need a paint scraper to pull it off. This one didn't have those lacy crispy edges either, but honestly, I didn't even care. It was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and hit every taste bud. The potato bun was toasted to perfection with actual grill marks, but not overdone. The burger comes stacked with "tamed jalapeños," American cheese, secret sauce, grilled onions, and pickles. Normally jalapeños are my personal villain origin story, but the cashier gave me the "don't even try it" look and reassured me they were as mild as dill pickles. She wasn't lying. They added the perfect crunch and flavor. The meat-to-topping ratio? A+ science fair project levels of balance. The fries are double fried in beef tallow and perfectly crisped, not a limp one to be found. I ordered Beast Mode, which means they're covered in cheese, special sauce, tamed jalapeño relish, and seasoning. Tasty? Yes. Life-changing? Not exactly. You'll survive with the regular fries dipped in their seasoned ketchup. The cookie is $4. It's house-made cookie dough, but I'd skip it unless you're deep in your feelings and need something sweet to cry into. It's not bad, just a little overbaked for my Cookie Monster-level obsession. And listen, I used to run a late-night cookie delivery business in college, so I've basically got a PhD in cookies. This one didn't pass the final exam. They've got zero loyalty to any major soda brands. No fountain drinks here. Your options: Boylan Bottling Company sodas, Liquid Death mountain water, or Cheerwine. I went with the Boylan Cream Soda because I'm a simple man with excellent taste. You can also grab a draft beer for $8 or a bottle for $6. This NADC Burger might just be top-tier in Charlotte, and I don't say that lightly. I even dragged Chef Erick out of his kitchen to try it. When the man took a bite, he did a little dance. Charlotte's got a new burger joint with some serious buzz.. NADC Burger. The brand arrives with some serious street cred - born from an unlikely collab between a pro skateboarder and a Michelin-trained chef. It's pitched as a fusion of skate culture and fine-dining beef, think wagyu on a brioche bun meets grip tape and graffiti. I ordered the NADC Burger "all the way" with a side of Beast Mode Fries and took in the scene. The place looks great. The soundtrack (RIP Biggie) hit right, the skateboards on the wall gave the space a gritty-cool vibe, and the energy felt equal parts burger bar and skate shop.. but the excitement started to fade the moment I opened my bag. For $16, I expected the NADC Burger to either twice the size or half the price. I get it (wagyu isn't cheap) but the difference was barely noticeable, and the flavor didn't quite justify the cost. The burger was fine (because, honestly, most burgers are inherently good), but for all the buildup.. Michelin pedigree, skate legend backing, social media buzz.. I was looking for great, and it just didn't deliver. It's like the Charlotte location caught the brand's reputation, but not the brand's soul. The Beast Mode Fries were solid(ish).. crispy, twice-fried, dressed up with sauce and jalapeños but still landed in middle management territory. The so-called "secret sauce" tasted suspiciously like thousand island, and at this point, I wish we'd all just call it what it is. That said, it still worked. If I go back (which, spoiler: I probably won't), I'd probably skip the upgrade and go for plain fries. The surprise MVP, the ketchup. Yes, the ketchup. It had this unexpected Cajun-spice kick that instantly stole the show. Tangy, peppery, and way more interesting than the main event. I gave it five stars on the spot. When the highlight of your $25 lunch is the condiment, that's saying something. All in all, my trip to NADC Burger was a letdown.. not terrible, just overall mid. For a concept built on street-culture grit and culinary credibility, the Charlotte outpost felt more like it was riding hype than delivering substance. Tbh, it reminded me why I keep advocating for locals to support Charlotte-born brands instead. Van Leeuwen opened and it's... meh, go to SWIRL instead. Pop Up Bagels? Fine, but hit Jeff's Bagel Run instead. Now we've got NADC... and my advice? Go to Surefire. NADC stands for "Not A Damn Chance." If you ask whether I'm going back... or whether they'll still be around a year from now? My answer: Not A Damn Chance.

Best burger I've ever had. Big foodie. It's $16 for the burger and $8 for the loaded fries. Not that big of a deal when you consider it's from a Michelin star chef and a pro skateboarder that grew a large following from his food and spices.

6/ 10 experience, they were out of cheese when we came so I added the cheese when I got home. Fries were good but I didn't enjoy their ketchup or the secret sauce. The burger was good and juicy. The cashier was nice and let us know ahead of time that they were out of cheese . Over 30 min wait for the burger but no line at the time that we came.

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. SHOCKING. My experience at NADC Burgers was extremely disappointing due to the completely unprofessional behavior of one staff member. I had just started placing my order with the cashier when a second woman (the person with braided hair, who I later understood to be the General Manager) inserted herself into the conversation. When I politely asked her to kindly step back so I could finish my transaction with the cashier and place my order, she flatly refused. She then promptly told me, "since she was starting to irritate me, just leave." I reiterated my request, asking, "Why can't you just step away so I can finish having my conversation and place my order?" She refused again. I was not yelling, screaming, or being disrespectful in any manner--I simply did not want to have a conversation with her. This individual's reaction, her refusal to disengage, and her decision to tell a customer to leave rather than grant a simple, polite request is a drastic failure in customer service. It appears she views a customer's preference not to speak with her as being "against store policy." The General Manager is in desperate need of immediate and comprehensive Customer Service training. This review comes from someone who holds a ServSafe Certification and has personally won special recognition for Outstanding Customer Service skills. NADC, you need to do better.
