Tacos for life never fails. So glad they came to the Dilworth area. Customer service was great and the owner was phenomenal. Shoutout to the owner Keon, great guy and a Christ Follower! Thank you for bringing Tacos for Life with a great mission to this side of Charlotte. Definitely would recommend the steak nachos.

In town and wanted a small, quick lunch and Tacos 4 Life filled the bill. Ordered one blackened Mahi Mahi taco and a side of cilantro pesto rice for under $9. Came out in a reasonable time and was pleasantly presented with the words, "Thanks for supporting our mission!" What? During lunch I researched their mission statement and was impressed with how they are focusing some of their profits on feeding children/families around the globe who are starving. I like that. The taco was delicious and worthy of a return visit. Has my "Give 'em a Whirl" meter volunteering me to pack mobile food kits next time the opportunity arises. Go here.

I am SO disappointed in my experience here. I absolutely love the other locations and was so excited for this new one to open closer to me. I ordered online and picked up, which was overall fairly easy. Plenty of parking. I got a chicken quesadilla with jalapeños. It barely had cheese, and the chicken tasted like it had been soaking in water all day and lacked flavor. For $15, this was definitely not worth the money. The salsa also had an off taste. I'm not sure I'll be back, this visit was really disappointing and almost everything except the plain chips were inedible. *updating from 2 stars to 3 because their operations team quickly responded and I appreciate that. Will give them another try!*

I like this place! It's extremely clean. Good sanitation score. Friendly customer service as they were taking the order. They DID forget to bring our chips and salsa to the table but maybe they were consumed with the lunch crowd. The portions are huge and the flavors are there. They have 15 taco options. 6 sides to choose from plus they have bowls, salads, quesadillas & nachos. There is a kids menu for 12 and under and something for vegetarians too. The most important thing about dining here is with each purchase, it supports a child in need with a meal. So as you eat, a child will be allowed to eat also. Stop by or cater your next event. I plan to cater an event at my job.

I tried the Dilworth location since they are fairly new. As soon as I entered , I was greeted with a smile and a hello. I asked for recommendations and they told me tacos I could try . I really enjoyed my nachos . It was so big that I couldn't finish it. Parking was easy and free. I will be back

Disgusting. Chicken was undercooked and the shrimp tacos tasted nasty. Really wanted to like this place, sad truth.

Decided to celebrate 5 de mayo early and tried this spot out. Came around 11:30am. and was pleasantly empty. Ordered their 2 taco combo, which consisted of a side and drink. You are able to mix and match tacos, so I decided to try their grilled steak tacos and crab cake taco. The grilled steak was so delicious! Very well marinated with pico de gallo salsa and a cream on top. It was my favorite for sure. The crab cake taco, albeit it was tasty, was not my favorite. I wouldn't order it again. We also ordered their chrip trio as an appetizer. The ladies did forget about that 2 times, and I ended up having to walk up to the register and inquire about the chips for a third time. Our chip trio consisted of cheese dip, salsa, and guacamole. All was very delicious. Wouldn't mind coming back and trying other items of their menu. Located in a shopping center with some parking spaces, but i fear that if you go during peak lunch time, you will have to park far and walk.

I finally got a chance to try this chain and man I can't believe this has been missing in my life! I had been hearing good things, and there is now 3 locations in the Charlotte area, so when the Dilworth location opened I knew it was time to see what the hype was about. One thing to know about Tacos 4 Life is that they pride themselves on their mission to provide meals to those in need. In fact a portion of all sales goes towards Feed My Starving Children. That's just a bonus aside, it is great to support businesses that give back. The quesadilla I had was incredible, and of course I had to try one of their name sake tacos as well. They have a unique type of puffy shell that I don't see often but they were great. The tacos are large as well with a lot of filling so it feels like you really get your moneys worth. Top it all off with a side of queso rice and it was one of the best meals I have had in a long time. I've been telling all my friends they need to give this place a try and I will be a regular for sure!
