fabulous visit before the gluttony at 3rd & Fernwood tonight. showed up a tiny bit early so how about coffee? Waterbean is right here to provide comfort as the sun and the temperature go down just ahead of closing... it's six minutes to close so just a quick little Americano and tip on the card because the register just got counted and that would just complicates things unnecessarily. felt a little bad messing things up right before closing but it probably wasn't the first time and definitely won't be the last. meanwhile: yumm hot coffee, almost regular ;-)

This is a great location in the midst of the densely developed area that is 'The Metropolitan'. I had to been in the area for another appointment so I stopped in for a Cortado. They seemed to have all the expected options. It's a small shop and I suspect they cater to the locals in the area as parking here is a terrific challenge.

So I personally did not like my coffee but I'm not gonna blame the establishment because they had really good ratings and reviews so I can imagine their drinks are actually really good. First off, their establishment is so cute and cozy. I loved the different options they had. They had Vietnamese coffee and Thai tea which I desperately wanted one of those but I committed to strict keto this month so I couldn't have the sugar. I decided to get a cold brew with heavy cream and sf hazelnut syrup which is typically what I try to get anywhere I go. I think depending on what brand of sugar free syrups a business uses, determines if it taste good or not. It's always a hit or miss. This particular one wasn't sweet and made it bitter. Although I didn't like it, I still drank it. I will definitely try again when I can have sugar and try to Thai tea or Vietnamese coffee cuz that is one of my favorite! They are in the metropolitan area so please go if you haven't tried them yet.

This coffee shop has great foods, pasteries, and beverages!! Always happy with what I ordered. I usually come in the afternoons and evenings, and consistently the workers are not friendly or very kind. I have experienced this with several workers in the afternoons... I wish they were kinder.

The Thai tea tastes like milk with a splash of tea. When I asked if they could add more tea, the man behind the counter was rude and only added another splash of tea. I get Thai tea all the time at home in California and they are much more flavorful than this.

This spot is perfect for grabbing a coffee or tea and getting some work done. It was quiet on a Wednesday afternoon which surprised me in a great way! Many people were in and out grabbing coffee to go but there were plenty of tables and seating indoors. I had the matcha latte which was fantastic. Parking is easy since there is a large public garage attached to the building. The staff were friendly and the cafe was very clean. Will be stopping by again the best time I need a spot to relax with a cup of coffee!

i've been here multiple times and it's always great service and yummy drinks HOWEVER the man who was working today 9/4 with the mustache was extremely rude and dismissive. i asked for a pumpkin spice chai, it was DISGUSTING (see picture below) and when i asked if i could get a new drink or refund i was told "Well i made what you asked for, there's nothing i can do." HUHHH???? i've never seen such a lack of care for customer satisfaction. $10 for a drink-- i should be satisfied, no? i am extremely baffled by this interaction as it was handled so poorly and unfortunately he was the only "barista" in store.

Another Waterbean location I frequent and love! The menu offers a variety of hot and cold coffee drinks and pastries. I ordered an Americano, and it was delicious. It's centrally located, and the ambience is always great. Baristas are friendly and professional. There is free parking, but it gets packed as it's shared with other businesses. Overall, 100% recommended.

Delicious coffee spot with a variety of options. Service was quick and friendly. Relaxing environment that would be great for either a get together or study day. Coffee tasted extremely fresh. They also offer smaller snack items such as macaroons, breads, chips etc.

Great coffee spot! I got an americano with sugar free vanilla syrup and oat milk and it was delicious. This was also likely the most delicious blueberry muffin - almost like cake! The staff was very nice and accommodating. There is short term (30 min) parking right out front and then a huge parking deck at the Metropolitan so plenty of options.
