The website advertises 24/7 service. When you call, it's all automated. I made a reservation for an early departure from a hotel in Charlotte using the automated system. There was no confirmation either verbally or text. Sure enough, pickup time in the morning came and went with no Yellow Cab taxi. Save yourself some stress and use another company.

We took Cab #550 February 21, 2025, from Charlotte Airport to Econo Lodge, Queen City Road. Driver was sick and told us so after we left the airport. Told him, if he was sick, he should be home in bed, not working. My husband and I are now sick, which we did not need to happen. Never started the meter and charged us $17 for a 3-mile drive, may be the right amount. He was having a hard time turning into the driveway to the hotel and parking the car once we arrived. I'm not sure if he could see the entrance/driveway, but he made the driver of the vehicle behind us angry, and they started blowing their horn. Not a pleasant experience. Please keep your driver's home when they are sick, so they don't spread whatever they have to others.

We were picked up quickly by a driver at the airport. He loaded our luggage into the car. Then swept us off to our hotel. The driver was friendly and polite. He made brief conversation. He drove quickly and safely; we felt comfortable the entire trip. He also made notes of when we were returning to the airport and passed our information on to his coworker.

At last minute they came as fast as they could to get us to the airport after City cab never showed up for a pick that was scheduled in advance! The driver of the yellow cab, Berkeley, was extremely helpful and friendly.​

Legit not safe. After long travels with a toddler the fight connection was cancelled and we got 2 vouchers for Yellow cab at CLT Airport. The taxi driver tried to have us use the car seat belt for the baby car seat, which isn't how it works and we repositioned it to the back seat of the van but then all of a sudden the car moved. The guy started driving with us holding the toddler and still setting the car seat. How crazy and illegal. He kept saying we can just hold the toddler. We refused and secured the car seat. The ride back was no different except the cab driver lied that he was the yellow cab reserved to pick us up, however another cab driver called me shortly after leaving saying he had the reservation and asked me to tell the driver that he stole his customer. Additionally this driver, asked again and again for the voucher, then gave it his undivided attention while driving on the high way. Lastly he did the same thing, trying to argue to have us just hold our toddler and forget about the car seat. What criminals. This organization sold be investigated and cleaned out before someone gets hurt.

Zero stars is my true rating for this joke of a service. I called on Thursday, 2/20 to arrange a round-trip service to the local mall with need for a wheelchair accessible vehicle. I was sent confirmation numbers for both trips and was told my reservation was set for Saturday 2/22 at 2pm. It was past 2:30 and received no call about the ride. I called multiple times and was told a driver needed to accept the ride, was asked if I wanted to continue to wait, and the nerve of them asking if I would accept a regular cab. The purpose of this trip was for a young woman with special needs who has to have a wheel chair accessible vehicle, on what planet would that be an appropriate question to ask? They kept telling me to "keep my line open" and then was told the wheel-chair accessible vehicle was "still in use"...how is that when I made a reservation 2 days prior?? Then I was told the reservation as not confirmed, then why was I sent 2 text messages with a confirmation number? We then received a call past 4 o'clock with the sheepish "dispatcher" telling me there was not driver available, I told her she was full of sh** and hung up the phone. This company is a joke and they greatly disappointed a young lady looking forward to an outing who has special needs. They have no compassion and they tried to get me to cancel to take the accountability off of them. They are a disgrace and do not care about people with special needs. They lied and tried to manipulate the situation. Stay away...the low reviews are all likely true.

If you feel like sitting somewhere for 50 minutes after they tell you someone will be there in 20 and then when you call them after 40 minutes they say oh yeah we're going to dispatch someone in a minute this is the place for you save your money save your time save your aggravation use any place else I'd give them a zero but that's not an option

Terrible decision! I repeated myself over and over that our hotel was only 2.2 miles from our pick up at the airport. Hilton Garden Hotel at the airport. He played it off like my repeated requests to go back the other direction was my fault that I didn't know what hotel we were going to. He said that there was 3 hotels by that name and I told him the one 2.2 miles to the airport. I kept telling him we're going 5,10,15 miles away from my destination. He said well this was the one you told me to go to. He scammed us for $51.80 knowing my repeated requests to go back the other way. He played the language/miscommunication card. I made repeated attempts to clarify "where are we going ? what's the address you typed in? he kept saying the Hilton Garden Inn. I made it clear VERY clear it was the Hilton Garden Inn at the airport. I felt like this is how people get trafficked and will NEVER use a taxi again. This guy does this frequently to people at the airport! took me 18 miles away from our true destination. Didn't try to make any attempts to go the direction I requested on multiple occasion.

Terrible experience. Driver of a very seasoned cab (#443) pretended not to know where the Kimpton was (one of the big chains in the Uptown area). He then proceeded to charge me by the minute/mile which was up to $6.50 before we even left the airport. Only when I corrected him was I switched to the $31.50 flat rate. I have never been to this city before and to have an attempt at exploitation before I even leave the airport does not sit well. Also, the cab was quite dirty and the AC "was broken". I had to ask multiple times for him to roll down the windows. Never again will I accept a Yellow Cab of Charlotte as a means of travel.

I work for a hotel and was suck needing a ride home so I called yellow cab. Was told 10 minutes. An hour later the hadasssigned me 3 different cab drivers and when they showed up only took the person who was going to the airport. Which would have meant they made more money as it was a flat fee. I was running 102 fever( had a mask on) in 100° weather ... it's rude inconsiderate ans zero compassion from the drivers or customer service rep. Drivers blamed cust service and customer services just deflected the whole thing. RIDICULOUS! NO WONDER RIDE SHARE DOES MORE BUSINESS!!​
