Time for an update since it's been 4 years. My girlfriend wanted to come here for lunch because she was craving soup. We ordered right away and sat at a booth. I got the roast beef and cheddar sandwich with the chili (mix of regular and vegetarian). I got my daughter the kids pizza and steamed broccoli. Both were delicious and priced great. The service was great and the girls working there that day were super helpful and friendly. Nice alternative at the mall if you didn't want asian food or burgers.

awful.god awful.we paid $36 dollars for potato soup that is brown.a french dip that looks days old and we were charged extra for a drink that we didn't get.we tried to take it back but they closed the gate and turned all the lights off.i will never be eating here again and i want my money back.this food literally made us sick.im honestly furious and disgusted.the people who gave us this food deserve to be fired because this is just absurd.

Been going here for years. Always order the club. Today i ordered half a club with potato soup. The soup was beige water with 2 pieces of potato in it. The sandwich was maybe a quarter of the usual sandwich. Menu changes aren't acceptance. Still paid about 16 with drink. I would upload pix if i could. Ridiculous.

I go here several times a month for lunch, and I've never run into an issue. The workers are nice, and the food is also good. Another nice aspect of this restaurant is that it has its own dining area, which gives a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the mall food court.

I would stay away from this location. They forgot my avocado on my BLT+A and had no mayonnaise on my sandwich. This wasn't even the most alarming thing. The workers weren't wearing a mask and were all teens who were definitely not being hygienic!

Back in the day when I worked at Carolina Place Mall, McAlister's was my go-to lunch spot to avoid the fast food overload in the rest of the food court. On a normal day at the mall, there is plenty of seating (both indoors and outdoors). The only time I've ever had an issue is on...say...Black Friday, but even then the staff is great about maintaining a good flow. The menu is simple and delicious. Great soups. Great sandwiches. Great sides (with some healthy options, which is nice). They also have killer sweet tea that comes in a gigantic cup, and you can get free refills, which is super helpful if you work in the mall for long hours.

OK...portions, variety and service. This is an order at the counter and take a seat with a number to have your order delivered. Salads are good sized and the drinks, at least our iced tea, came in huge glasses. Great for lunch, is crowded but moves fast. Could be in the food court, but has an outside entrance. Just OK.

If I could give this place a 0 I would. Waited 30 mins for a damn sandwich... the front staff kept passing by me saying oh it's coming when it was sitting in the kitchen on the counter cause they couldn't read the ticket... STONE COLD now mind you... front staff clueless, all theirs plates must be dirty cause they are stacked all the way up sitting on the front counter. manager could be heard from the dinning room yelling and cussing at her employees in the kitchen to where one walked out in the middle of her shift. I don't blame her. That manager needs to be fired. I will never eat here again and I'll make sure none of my coworkers in the mall do either. And to take your surveys off your website just shows what kind of issues this place has....
