After watching an interview with the CEO of Red Lobster, I decided to visit the Pineville location for the first time since moving to Charlotte 15 years ago. I placed an order for takeout, which was very easy online. When I arrived, they did have To-go parking spaces but I couldn't find a designated pick up area inside. There was a hostess podium, no hostess. So I entered the dining room to look for a pick up area, there wasn't any. The place was maybe 40% full, but diners were waiting at the bar for items missing from their meals. They were not happy. The vibe was very off. I gave my name and my order was brought out about ten minutes later. Regarding the quality of the food, my wife and her sister enjoyed their meal very much, so that's a plus. Will I return? Yes, probably. But it seems like more improvements need to be made to the product.

Came to try this place again after considering the health reviews are now finally consistent. Three inspections in a row. We started with 2 drinks - Bahama Mama and pina colada w/strawberry flavor . Had to send the bahama mama back as it was made on the rocks and not the icy blended drink I had in mind. It wasn't good. The bar tender took the drink dumped it in a blender with ice and served it right back to me. Not many of the ingredients were there. No grenadine no top or dark rum on top and definitely not enough rum to taste it was an alcoholic drink. Paid 10 bucks . Bummer. On to The dinner. We started with 2 cups of Clam chowder. We also ordered a CYO Ultimate Feast - with 5 dollar upcharge - to customize the way we wanted it - which was 2 of the Crab-legs along with Walt's Shrimp and Coconut Shrimp. Sides of brussel sprouts and coleslaw. The clam chowder soup was not good. It was awful . It was basically milk with celery and potatoes. There was no clams in it and did I mention it was watery milk like ? OMG . It was not the clam chowder that I was expecting. It wasn't good. I finally had to get up and go find the manager to complain about the milky watery soup as the waitress never came back to check on us. When the dinner was served she dropped it off and left. We had nothing to crack the crabs with and nothing to put shells in . I dumped the biscuit basket and used that. We also ordered an extra pound of crab-legs. So it was a mess . Finally got the waitress to bring a nut cracker that we used as the crab cracker to open the crabs with. No little fork or crab leg opener offered. No lemons. No hand wipes . No extra napkins. We finally got her to come back at the end of the meal when she realized she forgot the side dish that should have been delivered when the food arrived. So there we were sitting with sticky hands and a side dish after the meal was completed. Never did she offer to refill water. It was not a good experience. The waitress was not great. Never cleared our table or offered to refill water. Honestly it was just one series of bad things after another. Our first time back after almost a year waiting and this ... Lesson learned. We spent 100 bucks and trust me we won't Ever do that again. I don't recommend this place. The crab legs were good - but I could have made them myself at home for 40 bucks and gotten a much better deal with all the basic accessories anyone would need to eat them with. Napkins, lemons and crab cracker tools. Would I go back . Hard No.

Just don't go there. It smells horrible. Like B.O. and masked with cleaner. The Lobster tank was gross. Who wants Lobster from that tank. But let's be serious who really goes here for good lobster. Service was beyond slow. My hubs said his drink was the worse he ever had. Food- AWFUL- shrimp scampi was mushy and just not good. Rice was full of butter. Salad, fresh out of a bag with some old croutons. Just save your money and go home and have a PB&J instead. .

Red Lobster are going great things and "WE" have noticed the upgrades and changes and they are welcomed and appreciated. I ordered the margarita flight and 10 out of 10 I do recommend. The seafood boil was in the pricey side but I like that it's an addition to the menu. I can't wait to get back and try the sangria flight!!

We shared the seafood mushrooms appetizer it was a split one love them one thought ok. We shared the seafood platter combo and agreed it was really good and plenty for two. The lobster was perfectly cooked, the crab legs were steamed the fried shrimp were crispy and fresh, the shrimp scampi was perfect. The only criticism I would say the biscuits needed a few more minutes but that is my preference

Got all red lobster. A place I have been coming to since I was little. Admittedly I used to go much more when I was little because I couldn't get enough of that lobster tank. I still think it's pretty cool because where else do you get to see one of those where you wait? The service was great when I was here with my group of seven blind/visually impaired people. The hostess Christine even let the more adventurous members of our group touch one of the live lobsters. I have lobster flatbread, which is a classic and it's so good. Been having that since I was little and it hasn't disappointed Me, the rum bomb that is the lobster punch which tastes awesome, and the jambalaya. I don't know if the jambalaya is new or not. I think it is either way. It was really tasty and it was plenty of food. Was the bar a little slow? sure. There was only one bartender working the whole bar and I would've liked it if we didn't have to flag him down because again we were a group of seven blind people and flagging someone down is a Hercules effort. As someone who has tried hundreds upon hundreds of restaurants, there's a reason I still keep coming back here all these years later.

Decent food...mediocre service. This RL does not allow substitutions on the Ultimate Feast, so I basically told them they'd never sell me another one.

Much improved. Last time we went it was a total disaster. Matter of fact we walked out. But this time service was immediate. Food was delicious and cooked correctly. We had a good experience. I think they're on the way up again. I'm glad because it's one of my favorite places and I will be going back.

Walking in the door and seeing a half empty restaurant, during a normally busy dining hour, should have told me all I needed to know but we stayed. The hostess seeming unclear about what she was doing should have turned us away. We stayed. Getting a table and sitting there over 5 minutes before the same hostess came to take our drink orders, because no one even acknowledged us, should have told us something. We stayed. The service was poor, the food was poor, the wait time was poor. And having the hostess/server upgrade a drink without asking or being asked was poor. 0/10, would not recommend. It's been YEARS since I had been to Red Lobster. I went back in support of the new CEO but I won't be back.

Awful experience! The service was horrible: appetizers came after entrées, bread was brought with the check, and when we asked about proper crab tools, the server said the metal ones weren't available because "they don't have a dishwasher.". The food was just as bad: stale pasta with hard pieces, shrimp with a bad aftertaste, and everything tasted like it had been sitting too long. Left hungry and disappointed. Stay away
