A few regrets. I forgot to take a photo of the chicken biryani but I will be back this weekend to buy their goat version. I also forgot to take a photo of the place. I'm making a mental note to take those as well. So with that, let's cover the dish itself. The serving was generous. The rice was beautifully cooked but not as covered with the delicious sauce as it was at PandyaNad. Nonetheless the rice smelled so fragrant that you can almost disregard the lack of sauce. The chicken that came with the dish was equally as generous and delicious. It was also fall off the bone tender and moist. The shop was not as busy when I bought the dish. There was a person ahead of me and they served their dishes quickly. The grocery store looked well stocked but I wasn't able to peruse the shelves as I was focusing entirely on my hungry belly and the intoxicating aroma of the food. The key selling point is the price. Theirs is around $15 tax included. PandyaNad sells theirs for $18. Additionally, Almadina's serving is 1/3 more. With that you'll get more at Almadina. I'll give their biryani four stars. Definitely worth a try.

This is the maximum of quality and quantity. Obviously not the best food in the world but it's huge amount of decent food

Located inside the Almadina Supermarket in method road, this is a pretty good spot to get quality indian food without the hassle of going to a restaurant. They only offer takeout and have plenty of options ranging from classic favorites like chicken 65, butter chicken, goat rogan josh and chicken biryani. They also offer an amazing tea or classic south east asian chai with milk and sugar for just $1.25. They offer goat items such as goat biryani on Fri, sat and sun. The samosas are the most popular item on their menu and although these are probably just the punjabi samosas that you get from frozen packets, you do get a pretty good deal overall compared to other indian restaurants in the area in terms of both quality as well as quantity.

This is the best chicken, and the goat Biryani I have ever eaten in Raleigh area. I love chicken 65 too. The people work there are very friendly, highly recommended this place.

There food is good. Love their samosas, chicken 65. The only suggestion I would give is that they should use whole chicken in the biryani instead of chicken leg pieces, not everyone like it. I would definitely recommend this place.
