Lunch today from JJ's which is a bummer because there are SO MANY options for unique food in downtown Raleigh. But I was late getting off the 11:00 to 12:00 conference call and I needed to get something to eat at my desk in time for the 1:00 conference call. So I hit up the JJ's app, ordered my usual (Gargantuan, Unwich, No mayo, No Oregano, Add Dijon, Add Cucumbers) and hit the button. I immediately got the confirmation that the order was received but did not get the notification that it was ready. When I walked in to the shop, I could see why. It was super busy. Too busy. My sandwich took 9 minutes to be prepared and my name called. Yes, they were busy. But I have higher expectations for Jimmy John's and they weren't met today. That said, the sandwich was prepared exactly as ordered. Bagged with my receipt stapled to the bag. When I got it back to the office, there was not even one napkin in the bag. Ugh. Just placed an order and got a call from the store" ma'am, I'm gonna have to void your order, we just aren't delivering anything right now". Umm..ok. I was so excited about this location opening back up and super excited about them extending their hours to 7pm (or so they say) only to have them stop delivering 45 minutes before closing. Very disappointed. Do better JJ.

Disgusting. My picture is of my "veggie" unwich loaded with mayo, no avocado spread and 2-1/2 slices of cucumber. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. How many ways can a sandwich shop screw up a sandwich? I think they covered them all.

This chain sandwich shop in the middle of downtown wasn't anything special, but that's not a bad thing. The bread on my #5 Perfect Italian sandwich was fresh and ingredients were a good and classic blend of meat and veggies. The price for the food could be a bit better, but for a grab and go sandwich, this is a decent option in downtown.

Growing Up near Philly I'm used to roast beef Subs. I can't believe they don't offer salt and pepper for your sandwich. At least they use Hellman's mayonnaise! Wasn't a total loss.

I absolutely love jimmy johns and it's usually a go to for something quick and good. This location however, I will not be going back to. They gave one slice of meat and one dinky piece of lettuce. It was also drenched in mayo. My friend got a turkey sandwich on original and the bread was rock hard with one piece of turkey and a slice of cheese and tons of mayo. Do not go here unless you like mayo sandwiches.

Jimmy john's never fails me and this store included. I was experiencing back problems today and had to call in my order along with sending my daughter in to pick it up for me. They totally understood and didn't give me or her a hard time. Service makes all the difference and they have one of the best!!! The food was great as usual and I would definitely come back just for the service alone.

This Jimmy Johns team has showed up and showed OUT for me every day this week. I have pretty large orders and I often don't get to it in good time and they STILL make it happen early every time. I appreciate their extreme kindness and willingness to help me work everything out. Even though the space is small they help me navigate my way in an out of the store with a massive pile of boxes without seeming irritated or inconvenienced. Thank you all!

I really like the #3 - Totally Tuna - served on French bread with all the fixings. A bottle of water and a bag of salty, crispy chips and I'm good to go for the rest of the afternoon. Friendly service and a bright, clean storefront add to the quirky charm of this sandwich chain. Plus, free smells!
