Bad experience, I have usually used Subway coupons throughout the Raleigh area and now I come to this store and they tell me that they will not redeem them since after the pandemic they no longer accept them. I know they accept them and exchange them but what a bad experience

I mean subway is subway. It's ok at best. Generally you go there for something quick and relatively cheap. This location is average pretty average. The people are usually friendly and the service is decent. One thing I would warn about is their hours. They seem to not have set hours despite what is advertised or on their door. Might be open until 10p one night and then closed at 615p the next.

This was one of my favorite spots to get a quick bite downtown but this all stopped for me and about 10 others in the restaurant today. For starters, there was only 1 person in the store and this worker seemed to be very new. They could barely work the checkout register and had no clue how to make the sandwiches. About 4 of us in line had coupons, coupons that had literally been taken by the store the day before and earlier in the same day because I went yesterday and the lady behind me's husband went and used one earlier today. Long story short, when she could not figure out how to ring up the coupon she simply said that "no one will be using a coupon today so if you have a coupon please get out of line" she also claimed that she had just talked to the owner and the owner said not to take them any longer as if we didn't all see her try to use one and fail. We all left the store and the worker stated not to bring coupons next time in a very disrespectful manner. Sadly, I will never go back as I felt disrespected and unwanted at a place that I regularly go to. I pray that she gets the help she needs and that she is able to receive the proper training to complete her job.

Yes, I'm going to be one of those people that start my negative review by saying "I normally never write negative reviews". And this IS my first one. It is also completely warranted. I always go to the Subway on WF road, the one across from Biscuitville. The employees are ALWAYS super kind and friendly, and more importantly, the food is always above and beyond. Today my coworker was grabbing lunch for us, and the Peace St location was closer to where she was running errands. I had never had good experiences there, but beggars can't be choosers. As I picked up my sandwich, I was first shocked by the fact it was on its side. This should have been my first clue of the carnage to follow. I was then shocked at how light it was. I quickly discovered the reason was because all the filling except for one lonely slice of cheese had fallen out into a mayo-sogged disaster. . The "white" bread was so old and stale I even asked my coworker if she'd gotten me whole wheat by mistake. I had to peel off all the bread except for a pathetically narrow slice on the top and bottom, not for taste, but strictly for functionality so I had something to use as a vehicle to get the mayo-logged filling from their resting place on the wrapping paper, to my mouth. I nearly choked about 7 times, most likely a mix of the cardboard "bread" and the irony of the "Subway. Eat Fresh!" motto jingling in my head. To top it off, my stomach hurt all afternoon. Never again, Peace St Subway. Never again.

The new menu is overpriced. The employee didn't know what was supposed to be on my sandwich, she put things that I didn't ask for on it and lastly, they wouldn't accept coupons. Super disappointing experience for 2 people for $30. Only one of us got a drink and neither cookies or chips. Take your money elsewhere.

Pathetic. If you speak spanish you get service. If not they are HORRIBLE. They lie. They are the biggest CHEATS at this franchise. Everyone essentially knows what they're getting into with a visit to Subway. It is what it is. I pretty much get the same thing every time I go - foot-long veggie on wheat with everything except spinach and bit of the southwest chipotle sauce. It scratches a certain itch. I sometimes think that if I were not a vegetarian I might favor another sandwich chain, but I appreciate the vast number of veggies on offer here. And, at this particular location, I've always had reasonably good experiences. The staff is generally prompt and polite and they make my one sandwich to my liking. And I will tip my hat to them for having to endure the many nimrods our society produces. In today's visit the first thing I noticed was that some lazy schmuck parked directly in front of the entrance (there were only two of the 10 or so parking spaces in use and the spot in front of the door is not marked as a space). Upon entering I realized that, of the four customers present, I was the only one wearing a mask correctly. In fact, two didn't bother wearing a mask and the other guy had it below his nose. I mean, I realize that we spent about a month golf clapping for essential workers before going right back to treating them like dirt, but they are still putting up with a lot of bs. So I will throw on an extra star for their perseverance. That and the awesome spicy pepper relish that Subway offers.
