I've eaten at Tacos Costa Grande a couple times and both times I've been really happy with my food. Tonight I got lengua tacos and a carnitas quesadilla. The owners of the food truck are really friendly and they have a pretty fast turnaround time on orders. No frills, super chill food truck off to the side of a gas station on Lake Wheeler. Drive up, order and wait in your car until it's ready!

Amazing food for a good price. I got the chicken quesadilla and it came with lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, sour cream, and a really good but really spicy green salsa all for nine dollars. I definitely recommend coming here if you are craving some Mexican food. There's a nice park down the road you could eat at because it is only to go.

I have been to many food truck rodeos and I seem to always go for tacos here at Tacos Costa Grande, I tried to branch out and get something different but I'm glad I didn't! This family never disappoints with their authentic tacos and other great items! It seems that others in the line were seeking their quesadillas and I'll have to try those because their tacos are fantastic! Their service is fantastic and they also don't make you wait long, which is nice for a food truck in a hot parking lot. They also give you pagers so you can go find shade and wait for it to beep. The price was good for a plate of food, came with salsa and fast service. Would highly recommend!

I really don't want to be that person, but we tried this food truck Wednesday when they came to my apartment complex and I ended up having to make myself pb and j for dinner instead of eating what I ordered. I got the Philly cheesesteak (I know my fault for ordering a philly from a taco truck) and I couldn't eat it. The flavor would have been awesome if I didn't have to keep spitting out the meat as I tried to chew it. So fatty I couldn't eat it (and that's saying a lot because usually I'm pretty go with the flow). My fiancé had a chicken quesadilla which I tried a bite of and it was fine, but very rich (cheese was very heavy) and I couldn't imagine eating a whole one. Our friend got chicken tacos which were pretty good, so if this food truck is on your horizon I only recommend the tacos. Their menu only had four items on it, so you expect each item to be good (the one item we didn't try was another sandwich). I don't know if it was an off night or what, but steer clear of the philly, proceed with caution on the quesadilla and, by all means, balls to the walls for the tacos. Just of note: they only take cash so be prepared.
