There are a bunch of hotel options in Bismarck, and America's Best Value Inn is one of, if not THE cheapest option. However, all my expectations for a budget hotel were exceeded when I stayed here! The rooms were clean and I appreciated the abundance of outlets on the lamps on the night stand. In addition, the breakfast was actually really good for a budget hotel. On the day of my stay, got options included eggs, a tasty potato/pepper/onion/sausage hash, fruit, yogurt, 8 (!) bread options, and a bunch of other stuff. I don't know what other reviewers were talking about when they said breakfast sucked.

We stayed here on our migration north. Good online price. It was clean, quiet and comfy. The rooms have fridge, micro, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron and safe. It has a very good hot/ cold breakfast with all the options you could think of. Friendly staff. I would recommend and stay here again.

Well, it's cheap. So that's the one good thing. Otherwise, not great. First they gave us a room that you couldn't put a rollaway bed into, even though we had clearly stated we had a child with us in the reservation. Then when evening came around, a smoke alarm was chirping in the hallway because its battery was dying. We called the front desk - they thanked us for telling them and then proceeded to do nothing to fix it for the entire night. The. Entire. Night. Chirp chirp chirp every 30 seconds. Maddening. Also, the breakfast was horrible - stale food, no sign of the promised ham or sausage. Just disappointing all around. My kid wouldn't eat it. And he eats practically everything. It was cheap though, so I guess that's okay. Wifi was good.

This is consistently among the least expensive motels in town. It's relatively new and very clean. Most rooms have queen beds; a few have kings. Wifi is free, breakfast is included. Breakfast is somewhat minimal: egg patties, sausage patties, pastries and other breads, yogurt, a waffle maker. The plastic cutlery is cheap - I've learned to bring my own spoon to avoid cutting my lip. Most cheap motels skimp on outlets. One thing I like here is outlets at the base of the desk lamps (in most rooms) so you can charge and read your phone. Rooms do not include a safe, but there's an iron and ironing board as well as a hair dryer in each room. There's plenty of hot water. Air conditioning in every room. One strange thing is the confusing, op-art carpet. It's hard to see where the stairs are! In all, it's a pleasant place and a solid value.

Dirty hotel, dirty room. I thought we could escape the sticky coat of grime throughout the hotel when we got to our room, no such luck. This is the first time I stayed in a hotel with a dirty room: bottle caps on the floor, beard trimmings in the sink bowl, dirty mirror, the beds appeared to be made, but the sheets didn't look washed - they looked slept in. We tried to see the best in it, but it was an overall disgusting experience. Even the key card readers didn't work. This place is completely run down and neglected.

I was really impressed upon arrival. The staff is friendly, the facility is newly remodeled and clean. I would have given it five stars based on this and the price. The rooms also have a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot. First of all, there were no glasses, mugs, or disposable drinking tools in the room. Secondly (and this is the reason for two stars as opposed to three or four), THE BEDDING HAD NOT BEEN CHANGED. The pillow cases looked fresh, but the sheets had some drops of coffee on them. Finally, I didn't care for the bed. I would have normally complained and asked for another room, but I had to be up in less than four hours and was too tired to fuss with it.

Looks clean, carpet new. They need new beds now, at least in Room 237. I think that the prices in this area are just Rediculously overpriced. I see nothing more than a bunch of greedy people taking advantage of the oil riggers who are here. NEWS FLASH: Not everyone who comes this way does it because they are rich. This hotel should not be over 50 bucks!! Highway robbery!!!

This is my favorite hotel. Our key cards didn't work on the exterior doors. Walked all the way through the front lobby. To our room. Key didn't work. Went all the way back to the desk got re keyed. Went back to room. Key still didn't work.getting irratated by now tired crabby. This housekeeper is amazing. You can tell she truly cared about her job. She was so wonderful. She took us to the front told the lady we needed new keys took us to our room used her key to open the door. N then made sure our key worked. A big shout out to the awesome housekeeping staff

We stayed here thinking it would be good for a pit stop and it ended up not being good at all. The bed was so uncomfortable and the walls were paper thin. You can hear everything. The AC wouldn't work either but we got there late and were too sleepy to even fight it so we just cracked the window to cool off.
