Sweeto Burrito, I think that you are neato. You need some beer, though. This place ranks right up there with my favorite burrito joints of all time. My other favorites: Rocket Burrito (Billings, MT), Mondo Burrito (Seattle, WA - CLOSED) and Lucha Libre (San Diego, CA). I think Sweeto may be trying to rip Lucha Libre off in terms of ambience (both have a Mexican wrestling theme, and I think Lucha Libre was around before Sweeto), but imitation is the sincerest form of flattery and Sweeto can hold its own in the burrito department. I got the All American, which is "A MONSTER CHEESEBURGER BURRITO WITH SMOKED BACON, CRISPY FRENCH FRIES, FRY SAUCE AND AMERICAN CHEESE IN A MASSIVE TORTILLA." Often times, when I get a burrito at Chipotle it seems like it is about 3/4 rice. This burrito seemed like it was 3/4 meat. The fry sauce really turned the flavor up a notch. Sweeto started in Fargo, but appears to be in rapid expansion mode. Saw something on the Internet that there are about 250 franchises in the works across the country. Hope to get at least one in the TC Metro. Alas, Sweeto is a minus one star. Don't hate the player, hate the game. Rules are rules when it comes to ratings.

In having Sweeto Burrito a number of times, a burrito is the way to go, followed by the tacos. I'm normally a nacho guy but I wasn't impressed with their nachos - though they were priced nice for what you received. The burritos come in a variety of options with some crazy concoctions, so calling this place Mexican is a stretch. You need to check out their menu on line to see them. I've probably tried 4-5 types so far and have enjoyed them. The tacos I had at a get together were what I believe they advertise as their street tacos at the restaurant. They were very good and I liked how strong the onions were. I recently used Sweeto Burrito to cater an event, where I basically wanted a bunch of burritos and chips & salsa/queso. The employee Louie was great to work with. I gave him a dollar amount and he built a good mix of food. Our order was large enough to warrant a delivery and it was delivery on time and included a bunch of napkins and plastic silverware. Louie delivered it personally and was nice enough to arrange all the food before leaving. For strictly dining in, I would give them a 4 star review. However, due to the great service I received with catering, I will bump this to a 5 star.

They have some really interesting combinations for their burritos, but I must admit that none made my mouth water with a high level of intensity. I prefer more simplicity in my burritos- but that's just me. The staff was incredibly friendly, but not particularly helpful. Since I'm running the marathon tomorrow, I was looking for options heavier on the carbs and lighter on protein. I assumed they'd have tofu given the hip/younger vibe but the cashier informed me that they did not. "We do have the Thai Fighter" she replied energetically, and I immediately went with that since I am a fan of Thai flavor and the first few burritos I glanced at on the menu sounded way too fattening prerace. I noticed after ordering that it did have meat, albeit it was chicken (I assumed she had offered a veggie option, which I later saw they did have one, but it came with onion rings, gross). Anyways, the burrito itself was quite tasty- the peanut and curry flavors genuinely made it taste more like thai-mex than tex-mex. They have a higher meat-to-filler ratio than most other burrito places I've experienced. They had two different sizes, and I opted for the smaller and made it a combo with tortilla chips and salsa. The chips were cold, but still fresh-tasting, and the salsa on the bland side. All in all, you get more food for your money than at Chipotle or Qdoba (though Chipotle still remains my fave quick service Tex Mex place). The space itself was quite small, but still felt open and bright. It was filling up fast shortly after 11. Despite the confusion, the staff was charming (though this could be that corporate was in the restaurant).

First impression when I walked in was it looked interesting. Upon further examination the place looks run down. Tables are wrapped in logos which are all torn up and missing. The original flooring doesn't match the decor. Looks like they ran out of money during the build out. It's also way too dark in there for lunch. On to the most important part the food. I ordered a steak burrito. The burrito was a good size for a medium. Much larger than I had expected. The food presentation was good. Nice tray with chips and salsa. They probably didnt need to wrap the burrito since it was a dine in order. Then I bit into it. As the picture shows that I uploaded the burrito is nothing more than white rice with tons of cilantro ranch and sour cream. There was so much sour cream and ranch it was dripping out of every part of the burrito. The burrito had absolutely no flavor. I ordered steak because I wanted to taste the steak. The milky white sauce covered the flavor of everything. I could tell there was steak in the burrito because of the texture but not flavor. Usually I trust Yelp when it comes to reviews but clearly the owners and their friends have posted biased reviews along with all of the professional food pictures which look nothing like the food you will recieve. I travel for work and eat out often. I have not been sick from a meal in quite a long time as I have developed an iron gut. I can honestly say I got sick off this burrito. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. It is not worth the money or the price you will pay later for eating here.

Sweeto is right across the street from my work, so I've been here quite a few times. While their burritos aren't "ultra-premium", they consistently give great service and everything on the menu tastes really good. My favorite is (ironically) the Sweeto burrito. Great pulled pork style burrito. Note, some of their burritos are a little salty. Steer away from anything with the fried potatoes inside if you're sensitive to salt.

I really dig this place. Great "taco truck" style burritos. My favorite is the Smokehouse. You may encounter long lines. Suck it up, it's worth it. If you are going to go for the combo, Avoid the fries. Not bad, but the onion rings or tots are better. Since it's on Broadway, parking is an issue. Oh, and they're open till 3 AM on the weekends. So, super bonus.

Simply put, some of the best burritos around, and their tater tots are amazing! Unfortunately, that's where the good ends; their customer service is terrible! I stopped by there earlier today to get a burrito for both my wife and I for lunch. I also got their Chango (think cheesecake meets burrito) for dessert, and had asked for several sauces on the side. I get home, only to discover that not only had they not put in the strawberry dipping sauce for the Chango, but they had forgotten the two additional sauces I asked for for my wife! I called them, and all I got was a terse "Sorry" from some girl. No offer to make it right. No offer to speak with the manager. Just a bare-bones apology that you can get for accidently bumping into someone on the street when you're in a hurry, and don't really care that you are sorry. Well, I am sorry. As good as your food may be, any restaurant worth their salt will have excellent customer service to go along with the food and drink that they serve. There are plenty of other restaurants in the area that will be receiving our repeat business, but Sweeto Burrito will not be one of them.

Sweeto burrito does burritos different than other places. If you want your traditional Mexican fare there are places for that. However this place is for the unconventional burrito lover. Most of their burritos have a sauce which you wouldn't find in other burritos. There go-to is their sweeto sauce. Not sure what's in it, and I don't care. I will eat it till the day I die. The chicken burritos very tasty, the Carne Asada is very good, but if you're looking for something different try the cheeseburger burrito. If has french fries and is similar to a California burrito only this one has some pickles beef cheese and other things you find in a burger. It may not be for everyone, but you have to hand it to them for trying something new. Recently I went here with a family member and she got the Thai burrito as a bowl. It was very spicy and seemed to have a lot of flavor. Definitely had some kick to it.

In what can only be described as 'Dak-Mex,' 'Sweeto Burrito' has founded a new low for fusion food. The result is an affront to the cuisine of both Mexico and the Northern Plains. Food has never been so devoid of flavor in this latest cultural appropriation. What this burrito may lack in taste, it more than makes up for in repugnant texture. For if one bite into this bland sack of carbs isn't enough to send you away, wait until you crunch into one of the plethora of onion rings awaiting you therein. Sorry, crunch is too generous. Chew? Gnaw? As if to kick you while you're down while you desperately reassure yourself that you *didn't* just waste $8.58, watch as all of your expertly honed Happy Hour onion ring eating skills are thrown out the window. For when it comes to these 'gems' nestled inside, the bland burrito exterior provides you as much motor control as oven mitts while playing the piccolo. Worse than KFC Saddness Bowls, the burritos of 'Sweeto Burrito' are definitely to be avoided. Unless, of course, you enjoy washing the insipid aftertaste of mediocrity from your mouth. If you DO go, I highly suggest opting for the 'free drink' upgrade. And don't even get me started on the tater tots. Not even fit for a hotdish. Uff da.

Not your traditional burrito's. These were a welcomed change for me in comparison to Qdoba or that type if place. First off the flavor combinations range from American to Tex- Mex to Thai If you're in the mood for breakfast, they have that too. Next, you get to choose "Light weight" or "Heavy weight". Light weight is a slightly smaller version of the burrito compared to the larger Heavy weight burrito, which is more comparable to the Qdoba standard burrito. I appreciated this choice, as a Heavy Weight for lunch is entirely too much food for me. Finally, you choose to have a combo or just the burrito. The Combo consists of fries, onion rings or chips & salsa (maybe tots, too?) & a drink. The also have Tacos & Bowlers. The Tacos are huge! You definitely get your money's worth with this taco! I chose to try the Thai Fighter & Onion Rings. The Thai Peanut sauce had a great flavor, the chicken was tender. It was really good. The onion rings blew me away. They were crispy and cooked to perfection! I will most certainly make these a staple as I continue to explore the menu! My husband got the Smokehouse & Chips and Salsa. He really liked it, however, he commented that it was more along the lines of a wrap and not much like a burrito. He got the heavyweight and stated it was almost too much food for lunch. The Salsa was good, just the right amount of spicy without being too hot. The chips were good, but could almost use something to make them more unique, like a lime salt or something. All in all, we will definitely be revisiting to explore this menu more. Maybe for breakfast? I keep seeing something about a burrito with Country Gravy?? :) YUM! If you're looking for traditional taco's and burrito's you'll fund them here, but you'll probably end up ordering something completely different then what you walked in the door craving. Great food, great atmosphere!
