When most people order fry bread, I'll bet they're not thinking about its origins. You may not realize that it came from a source of great trauma and hardship, but through that came resilience. I want to take a moment and honor that before the rest of the review. Over a sensory ago indigenous people were forced to make a 300 mile walk to be relocated and then provided "staples "from the government to survive, some of them being flour, lard, and sugar. The makings of fry bread. Tee's pays homage to this history through her menu items, the decor, and the spirited resilient love that she puts in every food item she makes. I had the wild rice chili and the "fall apart" tacos. Wild rice has another interesting tie to the indigenous people, and she loves and honors that tradition in her food. Both items are excellent. You can never go wrong with a good bowl of chili on a cool day. And the fall apart tacos were exactly that the shell is light and flaky, and the meat and toppings are flavorful. I've had both the beef and the chicken , and both are excellent. Maybe she'd let you have one of each so you can try them both. The food is flavorful, the decor and music are soulful and spirited, and the service is feisty and friendly and welcoming. I only wish that the chili was served and a container that was compostable or a separate recycling for them rather than using the packaging she does. But it's a small point not to take away from the entire experience of the restaurant.

Whenever I drive points west, I like to see if there is any Native American restaurant, since that tends to be super hard to find. That's how I ended up here for a late lunch. Conveniently right next to a gas station, I stopped here a bit too late for lunch and too early for dinner, so I was the only customer. It's a small space, but nicely decorated for the theme. I had the southwest indigi bowl and a piece of fry bread. Both were very good, though I do believe the southwest bowl would be even better with a bit of heat. Great option for when you're looking for something different from all the other restaurants. Highly recommended!

We happened upon this place by chance, and are so glad we did! Came in worried that they wouldn't have any vegetarian option, but she happy made us some frybread tacos with beans instead of meat and they were delicious. Also loved the wojapi (blueberry sauce frybread) for dessert. Service was quick and friendly. Next time we might order to go, as seating area is a bit on the small side.

Fry bread tasted like it had been cooked in the am and let to sit and warmed up, a lot of bread and fee toppings on the tacos.

I have ONLY heard FABULOUS reviews and recommendations for Tee's!! Love their online interaction with customers and "fans"-- just waiting for the timing to be right for me to be in the area at the right time-- the names of some of their "offerings" are adorable/comical-- a smart way to lure in the "hardcore-Northerners" you could say... haha; FRY BREAD=DROOL-WORTHY - as well as any other food I'm told of-- wouldn't hesitate to recommend!

The Southwest Indigi Bowl was really tasty, the natural tea lightly sweetened with honey, and the frybread dessert with wild blueberry and whipped cream will have me going back for more. I love the authentic menu and friendly service.
