This place was filthy! Bed bugs left bites all over my legs. It was a living hell. The old man at the front desk ran my credit card as a no-swipe, and billed me an extra $250!

Reserved a room for 1 night. We were told we got one of the recently remodeled rooms. after walking in, we turned around and left and drove another 30 miles to another place. The lady who checked us in was very nice, it was the condition of the place and the location made us not feet safe.

Place was disgusting and smells like cigarettes. The bathroom facet was broken. The room was dirty. Everything is old, outdated and banged up. Ceiling had a hole in the top of it.. the phone beeping at 2 in the morning saying "missed message" and woke me up. Nonetheless I turned the AC on and it smells like something was burning inside it. Never staying here again.

This is an underrated breakfast. Free everything you could ever want. Waffles are worth a visit. I booked the wrong day by accident, we showed up late at night, and the manager still got us in with no charge to change. She put us in a nicer room than I originally booked. Great bed and bathroom. For the price, great value!

We Booked a room on 6/29/24 with two Queens, the beds were fine, definitely could have been cleaner, the bathroom was just a mess, there was what looked like mouse poop all along the floor in the bathroom, as well as the shower and sink paint was chipped and didn't look clean. the room didn't look like it was cleaned before us, i knew other people who were staying there and their room was a MASSIVE step up from how ours looked, (ex. clean bathroom, no chipped paint, beds were cleaned) we had a good experience with the staff, as young women there were a lot of older men who couldn't keep their eyes to themselves though that is not the hotels fault. i wouldn't stay here again, i would find a better place!

We booked two rooms for 1/16/2025. Room 210 had a smell to it. The carpet was stained in many places. The light shades on both lamps had rips in them. By the window, repair work had been done but hadn't been painted. It was a 20 degree below night & when I opened the curtain in the morning, the window frame was complete ice and glass inside looked like it had been raining heavily. Whatever they tried to fix around the window was just going to get more water damage. Not sure if fixtures just needed to be updated in the bathroom but things didn't look overly clean. The 2nd room, 203, was very similar. The windowsill trim was completely loose. It had only been glued on. Holes in the bathroom door. While sitting on the bed leaning against the wall, in both rooms, we kept feeling "bumped" by the people on the other side of the wall. Could easily hear others talking. On the plus side, the beds were clean and fairly comfortable. There were a lot of soft pillows. There were plenty of towels that were very soft. The refrigerator had a large freezer which fit our ice pack very well. The TV was Dish networks so lot of channels. The water was hot for a good shower. Heat worked well. The breakfast bar had waffles with the most topping choices I have ever seen including real maple syrup. There was also cereal, bagels, bread, fruit, yogurt, string cheese, milk, water, coffee. The juice machine was out and no sugar packets. Not sure if the carpeting in the hall was going to be redone, but all the floor trim was missing. Did not check out the sauna, exercise room, or anything else. For the price, I can't really complain. but unless it I would hear that it was updated, I would definitely pick a different hotel next time.

I'm sitting here in the room writing this with wet hair. It might seem like a small thing but as a former housekeeper for a high end hotel this place is trash. It's probably way better than it used to be but still trash. 1st when we got into our room the bed was made but the sheets were wrinkly and obviously slept in. Which means that someone just pulled the top sheet and blanket up and didn't remake the bed with new sheets. 2nd the carpets are filthy, my feet were left dirty from the little amount of walking around on the floor. 3rd there is no closet or even laundry bags. I ha e stayed in some much worse hotels but always at least had a laundry bag. 4th the shampoo and conditioner are worse than pert plus. 5th: THIS IS WHY IM POSTING THIS. they have a hair dryer, but it's broken. Because they had it I wet my hair. Stupid me for not checking to see if it worked before I wet my hair. I guess I just assumed people check those things. I called the front desk and asked for one to be sent up. Nothing came. Now we are leaving and my unruly hair will look like crap all day because I didn't have a hair dryer. I didn't bring my own because I checked the hotels and knew the hotels we were staying at provided one. 6th: each pillow is a half pillow size 7th: the furniture hasn't been dusted in who knows how long 8th the sockets by the bed don't hold a plug, they continue to fall out. 9th: the ac is dirty and needs to be cleaned 10th: the shower curtin is stained with someone's hair product. I think I could keep going but why. Positive things, the AC worked. And it is obvious to me that this place used to be alot worse and they are trying to make it better.

Excellent breakfast, 17 toppings with 2 waffle irons, no waiting! Friendly staff. Not fancy but very clean and homey. Great price for comfortable, well-stocked room. Sauna and exercise equipment along with books. Veteran parking. Highly recommend. Close to I94.

This former chain hotel has amazing and friendly staff, great for work crews on weeklong stays, a grill outback for the guys to cook some food, and a great location right off the interstate.
