This place is such a gem. The rooms were beautiful every single member of the staff was friendly professional if you ran into a maintenance guy he made it a point to say hey how you doing how you enjoying your stay? The cleaning lady in your pastor in the hallway hey how you doing you enjoying your stay do you need anything? The front desk the restaurant staff everybody was friendly the service was top-notch right up there with the Waldorf Astoria. The food at the view was amazing again great service. It's close enough to town to walk there but far enough away to be secluded. If there were more than 5 stars they'd deserve it!

I recently visited Mirror Lake Inn Resort twice within two weeks, and I must say, it feels like I’ve left a piece of my heart there. This place is absolutely magical, and I can’t recommend it enough!

From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with exceptional hospitality. The staff go above and beyond to ensure your stay is nothing short of perfect. Their friendliness and dedication to making you feel welcome truly set this place apart.

The breakfast and dinner options are outstanding—delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. Every meal feels like a special occasion!

The ambiance of the resort is serene and enchanting. The indoor plants and overall decor are so well-maintained, adding a natural charm that makes you feel right at home. The attention to detail in keeping this place pristine is impressive.

Overall, staying here is a truly unforgettable experience. I’m so happy I came back and look forward to visiting again. If you’re looking for a relaxing, luxurious getaway with top-notch service and beautiful this is the place to be.

Mirror Lake Inn in is our special place to get away, relax, cross country ski and to just plain enjoy. The rooms are luxurious and clean with breathtaking views of the mountains and lake. The staff greet you with a warm smile and continue year after year to have  a level of hospitality that is nothing short of exceptional. The delicious never ending pile of homemade chocolate chip cookies at the front desk, the crackling warm fire to read by or play checkers….this place is a true gem and our home away from home for the past 30 years and counting. The hotel and spa were nice. Late in the evening, they ran out of towels in the pool area. This was very annoying. Breakfast is included in stay, the chocolate milk my kids loved. The service was very good. The food was awful. I got a poached egg. The yolk wasn't cooked at all. We skipped breakfast there the next day. We went to the Breakfast club in town. I would rather pay a high price for great food rather than their awful breakfast.

My girlfriend and I spent a long weekend at the mirror lake inn, and it was on all fronts an exceptional experience. Their attention to detail in every way was worth the money spent for our stay. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, the rooms were cozy and clean (clean goes without saying at a place like this) and the christmas decorations really set the mood for the end of our winter trip to lake placid. If you get a chance, definitely eat dinner at the view restaurant. The food was by far and away the best meal we had while up there. Such an inviting atmosphere. Don't hesitate if you can shell out the few extra bucks while in the area to stay at the mirror lake inn.
