I recently dined at Il Mulino Roslyn, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The food was simply outstanding—each dish was crafted with authentic flavors and beautifully presented. The quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail in every bite were truly impressive.

The service was equally remarkable. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure our dining experience was perfect. They went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of, and their recommendations were spot-on.

I Have been to El Mulino  many times, years  ago and was very excited to return!! But  much to my surprise… it has become a run of the mill restaurant when you start seeing coats on the back of chairs, crowded tables ,waiters asking you to shuffle back-and-forth taking dinner orders before drink orders, forgetting to bring an appetizer out and having your guests eating their appetizer while everyone else is eating dinner …waiters that don’t speak English and cannot communicate in any way.. It went from an elegant classy restaurant to a DUMP.. !!! If this keeps up, I imagine you will be out of businessSOON.. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!! What a  Disgraceful  Performance.. SHAME ON YOU El Mulino!!!!

My family and i dined in on a busy Saturday night celebrating my daughters birthday . Food was excellent we had a variety of appetizers , special chestnut soup was excellent, risotto with white truffle was our favorite ! Aged ribeye hit the spot for everyone! They had a lot of homemade desserts . The service was amazing and they always checked in on our table to ensure we were taken care of. Already making our next reservation to come back so soon with friends to have a wonderful time like we did tonight ! Definitely recommend to put this gem on your next night out. The best Italian food on long island ! Thank you Alis for a great night ! See you soon.

Hands down the best Italian restaurant I have ever been too. Food and service was nothing short of perfection. Portions were large too. Very well worth it. I will be returning 🤗

Very inconsistent service
Initially, attentive but it died off after the appetizers arrived.  Took est. 50 mins for the second course to arrive.
"It is very busy upstairs, I'll check the food"  (it's Saturday night of course it's busy....bad excuse).  Food came.  My Chilean seabass was maybe room temperature. My boyfriend's Pasta/shrimp dish ordered... shrimp were very overcooked.
After we ate, dishes sat on the table empty for 20+ mins.  No one asked how the meal was, if we needed anything, no follow up at all (not even after the food finally came). Practically had to throw ourselves at someone to get the check.

For the area and the prices charged, the whole overall experience should have been better.  Charging those prices, everything should be up to par.
Another "pretty face " restaurant with subpar food and service.
