I hope to return and be able to go in. There's was no parking available anywhere. I was able to drive around and take a few pics. I'm giving it 5 stars because I could see the grounds were well maintained and lots of people were enjoying them. But, it wasn't crowded. Perhaps a Tour company or an Uber drop off would be the best way to visit.

Stopped in at Betty's across the street for lunch and decided to walk over here after. It was super cool to look around and read the signs. We got to the museum 15 minutes before closing, so the guy didn't even charge us the $6 entry fee, which was so nice! They have a ton of historical artwork, items, and even a lock of Washington's hair.

The view of the Hudson is pretty stunning. Keep in mind the grounds do close pretty early, I think around 5.

Pretty good experience. Great info. Cool to see the artifacts from the time period. Bummed that the artifact library kiosk was down so we didn't know what the items actually were. The statue of GW was also out for restoration (which is expected from time to time and necessary).

Enjoyed walking around the park learning about the history in this area. The statue of George Washington is under repair at this time, but the tower is neat to see. We elected to go tour the indoor museum where there are 1300 artifacts from that time frame. It was $7 general mission and $5 for senior citizen. Worth going through and reading about the history. There is parking close by and on the street.

I love this state historic site. I have gone 3 times with different age groups and all three times have enjoyed the park and tour . The staff and tour guides  are friendly and informative.
