The Frenchman is in a wonderful area in the heart of a fantastic music scene and has a lively history as well. The design, location and staff are top notch - especially Jeffrey who made sure everything about our stay reflected the vibe of the hotel. I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

The hotel itself was fine, but the booking and payments was the issue. Not only was I overcharged but my friends that booked here were as well. Check your statements and verify that the amount charged is what was promised. I called Kasa that operates the hotel And they pretty much told me it’s not their problem even though the transaction says Kasa on it. Be careful and book elsewhere

We stayed at this hotel for two days. The room was booked through Expedia. The hotel is now part of Kasa. Check-in and check out are all done electronically. You contact Kasa through text messages and the responses were typically in a few minutes. They helped us to request early check in by texting and we were approved to check in around noon with no additional charges.
The virtual check in and out was easy and quick.
There is a person in the front desk 24/7. You can ring the door bell if you don't have the entrance code. We were able to store our luggage there before and after the hotel stay.
The room is clean and has everything necessary for our stay. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful.
The only problem we had is that the bed frame had extruded legs which were very frequently in the way. We had bumped our legs with the bed legs countless times.

I honestly can’t believe the other reviews about this hotel.

Light fixtures were missing, outlets didn’t work, the fan is working it way out of the ceiling and it is the smallest room I’ve seen outside of a big city.

Long story short, there are too many good hotels to stay in this MOTEL, while in NOLA.
