The servers are so kind and welcoming. The food is delicious and doesn't take long to come out. The diner itself is cozy and warm. Love coming here, especially in the winter!

Easy 5 stars. I live in the area and have been a few times over the years. If you're looking for a great Jersey diner, this is it. I was most recently here on a Saturday night around 6:30. Was seated right away. Our waitress was super friendly, warm and welcoming. She told us the kitchen was a little backed up and there might be a wait for our food but it only took about twenty minutes. My son ordered the Mac and cheese from the kids menu and loved it, and I appreciated that it was real Mac and cheese and not just from a box like we've found in other restaurants. I got the patty melt, and I can easily say this was the greatest patty melt I've ever had in my life. Perfectly cooked, juicy, tender, swimming in perfectly melted and gloopy mushrooms, onions, and Swiss cheese. There is nothing quite like hearty diner comfort food that just touches the soul. BYOB and can provide wine glasses if you bring a bottle of wine. Not open 24 hours, but at least open until midnight if you need a a late night fix. This place is warm, inviting, filled with friendly staff and customers, like stepping into a slice of Americana.

They have some unique things ontheir menu compared to other diners. I went in knowing what I wanted to order but was definitely surprised by the choices. I decided on the green eggs and ham crepes. The actually crepe had a really nice flavor. This had scrambled eggs, ham, Swiss and avocado inside. You get two filled crepes. It was so filling! The only thing I would do differently is asking for the hollandaise sauce on the side. They put a lot on top and it was overpowering. The sauce itself was delicious but that's really all i tasted.

There food is delicious and spectacular. A lot of their food is homemade which males it an excellent place to dine. Me and my girlfriend absolutely recommend this place 100%.

I've been here exactly once! It was a weekday between Christmas and New Years at 7:30AM. By all and every account it fits the expectations of a diner breakfast. Coffee served immediately and refreshed often. Eggs over easy, sausage, potatoes and too much rye toast! Excellent. Breakfast served mere minutes after ordering. $23 total for two people, cash tip on table, pay in front. Just four since one visit met expectations, nothing more or less. Friendly service.

Just paid 15.00 for a BLT on white toast. I just ordered without looking at price which is my fault. I just realized I cannot afford to eat at the local diner. Shame. And 4 bucks for a soda of which I drank half. Apparently refills are free. Well I for one would like a choice Mr Legacy, perhaps a $2 one-time soda or a $4 soda with unlimited refills but a $4 one-time soda mostly ice is not OK. I am not a soda drinker and would never have the appetite for more than one. So again sir, a choice would be nice. I approached Mr Legacy about the price gouging but he defended his prices saying everything is costly. True, but his look of unease or embarrassment when he said that made me feel that perhaps he knew I was right. Who knows. Won't be back and told him so. The sandwich itself was hardly worth the money. Too overpacked and the bacon was too hard. The fries were enough for several people. I think I ate 4 of them. No wonder we are all so overweight. I must say the fries were very good. Done quite well. Nonetheless if that added extra $ of which I now have even less, then keep them. I called two other local diners and their blts were 9.99. (With fries). Greed seems to be everywhere. I'm quite aware of prices. I'm just shocked. A sandwich that cost $3-5.00 at home is triple at the local diner. Why?

We waited about 30-45 minutes for 2 burgers and an omelette. Way overpriced. We were charged $2 for cheese on an already $12 omelette (still an incredibly dry omelette with the cheese put in, I suspect only a slice or two was used), a small glass of chocolate milk is $5. We were charged for onions as an add on to the omelette, but weren't even put into the omelette! They brought it out on the side and asked if it was okay! The cheese for the burgers were melted on the bun instead of the burger, we ordered them well and medium. They got the well part done, but the medium was the rarest medium I've ever seen. When the pricing was brought up to the owner or MOD, "It's a restaurant, sorry." It's a diner. Get over yourself. We were hungry so we didn't oblige to have anything dealt with, but incredibly overpriced for mediocre food and unprofessional service, from the top down. EDIT: I had to redownload the app because I was just so dismayed by this service lol
