Stayed here a few years ago and was hoping it was still comfortable and clean. Better than I imagined. Easy entrance and exit (especially since I came in off of 95), decor has been updated and everything was great. Kyra was so courteous and professional checking me in and out. Kelly had been helpful on the phone and Victoria? was even friendly cooking breakfast. I asked for a crib and it was promptly delivered. I was glad I brought a crib sheet but maybe the little padding and blanket hey provided would be ok for some parents. Great comfy bed. Dove brand toiletries. A perfect stay. Thank you

I have to say right off the bat this is an older property. The wear does show in places. However the amenities the property offers are good. The rooms are comfortable. The staff is very nice. The location is good. I didn't take any photos. I apologize for that but really didn't find them necessary. Yes we had a few stains on the carpet. The elevators were a bit scuffed up. Yet this property has still got quite a bit of good coming through. We stayed 4 nights and we're very comfortable. Slept well. And had a great location to start every days adventures. I would stay here again in my opinion.

Broken door handles to closet. No hooks in bathroom for putting up clothes. In the ac vent there was so much dust. Ceiling really dirty. TV outlet not working so i had to plug it into an extension cord i had with me. Nice pool and was open even though website said after labor day it would be closed. Breakfast is nice if it had a working pancake machine. But it had my favorite cereal (strawberry granola special K) The manger gave my kids a kids treat (playdoh and bubbles) which was nice. Overall average stay. Room dont have enough outlets. We requested a crib but we had to go to the front desk for them to put it into the room. We stayed on the first floor and it wasn't noisy at all. Stayed here for 4 days & 3 nights. Not too shabby. Stayed in a non smoking room. Now I think ganja is legal now in some states or maybe all states - IDK & IDC The 1st night the entire hall reaked of Mary J. I despise that smell like a parent hates stepping on random tiny leggo pieces on the floor - painful! The next 2 nights the hall didn't smell like crap. Thankfully. Pros : - They somehow didn't have our reservation; due to some system malfunction that SeaWorld made a mistake ? But they fixed that right away and gave us our room. - served complimentary breakfast - gave my kids sesame place goodie bags. (Since that's why we were there) -had a nice pool -provided us toiletries upon asking lol Cons: - no microwave in the room - no ice machine on the floor we stayed (2nd fl) -didn't clean our room the whole 3 nights we were there..... I had to keep asking for towels bc my kids wanted to go into the pool. (I know we can reuse our towels; we did that ) but didn't reuse the pool towels. I ordered delivery 2 nights out of the 3 I was there and the preggo lady in the front would call my room and ask "did u order Chinese food?" That annoyed me - just cause I'm azn I had to have ordered Chinese food ? I actually ordered Italian both nights When I went to the front desk to pick up my food one of those nights a guest was in the lobby and asked ... r u gonna share ? Jokingly I said " sure " When I left I swore I heard him say "cheapass" what a MF. I didn't wanna argue . So w.e Overall everyone else was pleasant from the breakfast lady to the other front desk people and even the cleaning dude which I saw him every morning getting his laps of exercise in by walking around the building. Hotel was conveniently located within 20 mins of my destinations : Sesame Place & Please Touch Museum.

Dingy dingy dingyyyy Room was you know the world dingyyyy... the carpet was stained had dirt marks and smell a little odd. The beds or not comfy at all. They were cheap and very cheap Linen on the bed as well. Small bathroom which was also dingy.. The room was kinda of cramped. There was beer bottles when I first checked in on Wednesday and they were still there on Sunday when I was packing up my car.. They have a hot breakfast in the morning but there's been hairs found in the scrambled eggs which is really gross and they mostly just have sausage with gravy. Gross... they have a pool but it's right in the front when you drive in so there's no like privacy which is just weird cuz you can see it from like the main road. Staff were friendly but kinda clueless since they just started working there. And because they were brand new they were not much help. Business trip I did not pick this out

Horrible horrible hotel. First, check in was super slow and the room we were assigned was very far away from the elevator. Second, when my family and I got back from dinner, our whole floor reeked of marijuana (weed). When we called to complain, we were dismissed and told that they can't really do anything about it (even though they don't allow any kind of smoking) but ultimately allowed to change rooms. Third, the room that we got had some hair in the bed (obviously not ours) and holes in the ceiling. It's safe to say we will not be back or staying here ever again.

A "Hotel" in Name Only -- Welcome to the Holiday Mess Express Ah, the Holiday Inn Express NE Philadelphia/Bensalem -- a beacon of mediocrity and poor management, nestled in the heart of a dumpster fire. If you're considering booking here, allow me to save you the trouble: just pitch a tent in a gas station parking lot. The ambiance will be similar, and you might actually feel more welcome. The Pros: Let's start on a positive note (don't get too excited). The breakfast wasn't terrible. If you've ever dreamed of eating bland eggs while staring longingly at the exit sign, this is the place for you. The Cons (brace yourself): - The entire hotel reeks of marijuana. No, not just a faint hint -- a full-blown dispensary experience. Apparently, the Holiday Inn Express doubles as an apartment complex, complete with welcome mats and door decor. I half-expected someone to invite me to a potluck in the hallway. - The bathtub in Room 316 refuses to drain. Showers turned into speed challenges, unless you wanted a foot bath in what can only be described as "mystery water." Taking back-to-back showers? Forget it. The tub takes an hour to drain, much like my patience during my stay. - The air-conditioning unit sounded like it was auditioning for World's Loudest Rattle. Sleeping was more of a suggestion than a reality. - The bathroom fan was, frankly, a menace. Imagine an out-of-tune bagpipe crossed with a dying animal, and you'll get the idea. To clarify, it didn't work -- it just screamed at you. - Saturday night (our first night there), our room keys mysteriously stopped working, forcing us to drag our exhausted child, who just wanted to go to bed, down to the lobby to get them replaced. The woman at the front desk's name was Oksana. Her explanation? "Oh, this just happens sometimes." No apology, no empathy -- just a casual brush-off. To top it off, she only gave us one working key. The other? Still useless. - After finally getting back into the room, I called the front desk to address these issues. Oksana's solution? Hang up. Repeatedly. After multiple attempts, I had to walk down to the lobby in person, only for Oksana to call the manager on her personal cell phone. What followed was the manager yelling at me on her employee's cell phone -- right there in the middle of the lobby -- as if I was the one who broke the room keys. - The "manager" (and I use that term loosely) continued her unprofessional streak on Tuesday morning when I followed up on these unresolved issues since I hadn't heard anything. Her response? She asked me to leave. Not only that, but she flatly refused to issue a refund, despite the numerous problems we faced. Bonus Round! I eventually had to call the police! Why? Because the manager decided that I was the problem, after I became understandably irate when she refused to fix anything or address the blatant issues with her rude staff. Instead of resolving the situation, she doubled-down, asked me to leave, and refused to issue a refund. The Outcome? The Bensalem Police Officer arrived quickly (shoutout to our heroes in uniform), took down the info, and then gave a basic explanation to the manager that humans verbally arguing isn't illegal and I was owed a refund if they were asking me to leave. Yes, I eventually received a full refund -- not thanks to the hotel, but because their behavior was so absurdly out of line that it practically demanded corporate intervention. Oh, and I filed a BBB complaint because, well, someone needs to know what a disaster this place is. Final Thoughts: Avoid this train wreck at all costs. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and head to the Hampton Inn & Suites on Street Road. The staff is professional, the food is excellent, and you'll actually feel like a valued guest. Trust me, your sanity will thank you. Happy travels -- just not here.

Average place...they do not enforce no smoking rule- placed reeked of marijuana. Bed was old and mattress sunken in in the middle room, floor/carpet stains. Not an upscale neighborhood. If you have other options for a hotel stay - use them.

Nice clean hotel. Comfortable beds and a decent complimentary morning breakfast. But here's the rub. $243.09 for this past Saturday night. IMHO, that's way out of line. Normally I wouldn't pay that kind of price but I was stuck in the area and didn't have the time to shop around at the many other hotels in the area.
