My initial experience with Malo's occurred one afternoon when I simply wanted chicken fingers...good chicken fingers. So the search and research started. I wanted somewhere close and I wanted the best. First of all, this is not something I ever order; one of those cravings that hit me, and simply nothing else would suffice. It had to be chicken fingers and fries. I couldn't even tell you the last time I had even had chicken fingers and fries. After looking online at tons of suggestions and reviews for places in Delco, I settled on Malo's and I couldn't be happier I did. Since then, we have returned for pizza to give that a shot too, and again...not only pleasantly surprised, but downright blown away. The people running the place and cooking are great. Pleasant on the phone when ordering, extremely helpful and patient, as well as nice and welcoming when you arrive to pick up your food. It appears this has been a family-owned institution in Collingdale for many years now, and for good reason. The place is what would expect from a classic corner store pizza shop with short order Italian favorites, and I wouldn't say stop in to eat there unless you have to, this is more of a order and take home kind of place. What breaks the mold, is the wonderful food; that's what's it's all about anyway though! The pizza "chicken rostina" had a plethora of delicious ingredients and was cooked well, served perfectly hot, and was still steaming when we arrived home. However, the true jewel in the crown of this place is the chicken fingers. I cannot explain in words, regardless of how hard I try, how great these chicken fingers actually are. "Godlike" would be a fitting descriptor, but it's more of something that one simply needs to experience. Optimally thin and perfectly sized cutlets, seasoned with love, and just ever so lightly breaded that a paper thin crust encapsulates the juicy chicken inside. Laid over a bed of your choice of French fry type, for a very reasonable price considering how good they are, served so hot, that when I got them home my first time, it was still like they had just been pulled from the fryer. Best part, they are not sad and rubbery, or soggy and greasy, just crispy and juicy, golden filets of wonder that even after you have five, regardless of how full you are, entice you to want more. There are many delicious reasons to give Malo's a shot, but number one on that list is the chicken finger platter. You simply cannot strike out with that. If you live in lower Delco, this place should be a regular order or delivery spot for you, and if it isn't, you're probably doing food wrong. If you haven't been here yet, I highly recommend you get there and put them to the test, and blame me if you don't agree. Though, I think it will be very hard for you to try and prove me wrong...unless of course you just don't like living a life full of flavor.

I hit up Malo's for a to-go order and was happy with the pizza and my visit. Parking is on street and can be a little tough. You'll probably find spots on the side streets rather than right on MacDade Blvd. The staff inside looked to be all family and were very nice. The front area was a bit cluttered, but the kitchen and prep area appeared clean. I ordered one plain cheese pizza and one pepperoni pizza and they were done in about 15 mins. There are a few chairs to wait for your order inside. The bill was around $30 for the two pizzas. Now for the important part, both pizzas smelled great and had a nice round Neapolitan/NY Style appearance. The cheese was fresh and of good quality, there wasn't much if any grease on the plain and the Pepperoni wasn't overly greasy. The crust was soft, but had some crispy bite to it. Sauce was tangy and sweet. Each plain slice stood straight as an arrow, not much flop going on with the Pepperoni either. The co-workers I brought the pizza to enjoyed it and said it was good solid pizza. I agree. I think Malo's is a good safe pick for pizza if your in the area. Thanks guys!

Its a shame i have to give this place a bad rating because the customer service seemed very well, but i wish i could give them zero stars instead off 1 star. This was by the one of the worse pizza shops I've ever ate at, Overpriced and bad quality food!!. They gave me old burnt greasy Fries and they tried to hide them by covering them up with cheese and ketchup. The Pizza looked good but it was nasty!! The cheese was very low quality and it tastes fake! It had almost like a American cheese texture with no flavor, no cheese pull at all. I will never comeback to this Pizzeria please say your self a trip and save your money. You've been warn.

Malo's serves up great food. If you're in the area or not too far away they are definitely worth the trip. It's a family owned & more importantly operated establishment & it shows in the quality of their food. There is pride in their product & it shows... The pizza was tasty & delicious.. Their chicken fingers are homemade & also very tasty. This will be my new spot for pizza & chicken. I'll be trying out their steaks & strombolis next...

We were in town to catch an early fight. We stopped by Malo's and we enjoyed the authentic atmosphere and friendly staff. Our order was ready quickly and we took it back to our hotel to eat. It was a lot of food, we are all stuffed with leftovers for the plane tomorrow!

Had to pick up lunch for my team yesterday and i found this pizza place with great reviews so decided to give them a try Ordered two large pizzas, one pepperoni and one plain. The pizza had a good flavor and plenty of cheese and pepperoni. Also ordered 2 garden salads. Again good amount for the price. The only reason they lost a star is i had to pay for the paper plates i asked for. Ive never had to do that before at other places.. Food is great, and while it wasn't expensive to buy their plates i will make sure to have our own supplies. Pizza is worth it though.
