I really enjoyed my one-night stay here. The hotel was clean, staff was very friendly and the hotel is located near plenty of stores and restaurants. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. There is plenty of parking and you can enter from the front of the hotel or turn onto the street next to the hotel and enter through the back (there is hotel access in the back as well). This was my first time staying here and I was pleasantly surprised. I would stay here again when traveling.

Outstanding! We love staying at Hampton Inn's and this was no exception. It seems the hotel has been redone from top to bottom. Super clean, ample parking and the staff we encountered were all extra professional and courteous. We left at 5 am and the lady at the front desk was a sweet woman who made sure we left with fresh coffee and food for the road trip home. She even gave us two beautiful handmade items which I'd love to get more of to actually buy as gifts for friends and family. She made my birthday and an even greater end to our trip! Thank you.

This is truly one of the hotels of all time! Snark aside, this is a very average, A-OK hotel! Good: - Friendly front desk staff, always with a smile - Spacious rooms with lots of space for luggage, moving around, etc.! - Rooms felt clean and sanitary - Comfortable shower overall - Shower's conditioner detangled hair well (underrated pro) - Smart TV with different streaming options, though my MacBook refused to cast to it Bad: - Driving to the hotel is very annoying - you are basically forced to make a u-turn - Tons of rooms are connecting rooms, which can feel a bit uncomfortable security-wise - Loud guests on floor itself and in lobby - Terrible water pressure in shower - Very hard, uncomfortable beds that felt cheap and like the mattresses were too firm yet "squishy" in feel, in a lose-lose fashion - Pathetic complimentary breakfast, very few options, hot items lukewarm at best and most of the food mealy and unappetizing (low effort throughout, e.g. no fruit, tiny yogurt packs meant for children appetite wise)

These folks went above and beyond to help me find the location when we went to several other Hampton Inns within the area. They stayed on the phone with my husband and I multiple times to guide us to the proper location. The location had a great breakfast and was clean. It was all we could ask for and more. Ed at the front desk is rudest person I have encountered in a long time. In trying to get my digital key delivered, they refused to do so until I showed my face at the front desk. When trying to get an explanation from Ed, all I got was "sorry, I can't help you" and "that's the way it is going to be" and "get here by 3am or we'll give your room away." The front desk staff on a power trip completely at odds with the Hilton digital key policy copied straight from their website: "Pick the room that's right for you in advance, and check in online the day before your stay to avoid the front desk."

The bathroom has a stupid barn style door that opens directly facing the beds. No lock. Nice big gaps around the door between the door and the wall, so light and sound leaks out all around the door into the room. You better be real comfy with the people you are rooming with because this was not designed for privacy, or to be used while people are trying to sleep. God forbid you have small children and try and stay in this hotel. Pick literally anywhere else. Breakfast service was spectacular at least. Workers were great. Very helpful and food was good.

We arrived around 430 pm on a Friday for a weekend getaway with family. Upon check in we came to meet Crystal- a lovely front desk representative. She was pleasant as she was checking us in. Check in was fast and accurate. She then gave us the keys and we proceeded to the rooms. When we entered the rooms they seemed to be cleaned to the better of perfection. I also did a thorough cleaning myself (wipes door knobs and all areas we would later possibly touch. Beds were made and sheets looks laundered. I had my Lysol, Clorox wipes and hand sanitizer. I used them appropriately. The beds weren't comfortable at all and rather small(full) but we made do. They definitely get a good starts for cleaning I would stay here again while passing through Harrisburg.

We just completed our one night stay in the Hampton Inn on Union Deposit Rd in Harrisburg. We stayed Saturday night. There was plenty of parking. The non smoking room was clean and comfortable. The sheets and towels, furniture, and carpet were clean. There was a small working refrigerator in the room that we used and it kept our drinks cold. The shower and bathroom was clean and the water was hot. We stayed on the 4th floor and there was not a lot of noise even though there were a few kids sports teams staying in the hotel that night. The free breakfast on Sunday morning was waffles, eggs, link sausage, juice, cereal, bagels, and some pastries. We enjoyed the breakfast and everything we ate was very good. Breakfast on Sunday morning was a bit hectic with all of the kids from the sports teams and their parents, but there was plenty of room and the staff kept up with the cleaning and resupply. We purchased some drinks from the hotel lobby store and even though they were a bit expensive ($3.50 per Diet Coke) but that option was very helpful and the drinks were cold. This front desk staff was quick, knowledgeable and helpful during the check in and check out process. If we had to comment on anything, we would request less fragrance in the hotel shower supplied shampoo and body gel. The hotel has an outdoor pool, but it was closed for the season.

Stayed here with my family on a Saturday night to visit Hershey Park. Got here around 1 and was greeted by very friendly staff who allowed us to check in early and made sure we were on the same floor with other family members. The hotel lobby is small but very clean, modern and inviting. It was decorated beautifully for Christmas. We've traveled a lot and are very picky with hotels and cleanliness and this is one of the cleanest hotels we have ever stayed in! The room was in the smaller side but comfortable and exactly what we needed. Breakfast was free in the morning and included everything one could need! Scrambled and hard boiled eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, yogurt, muffins, bagels and more! The staff was friendly and made sure everything was clean and full at all times. Hotel was quiet. Great experience and would 100% stay here again when visiting Hershey. It's about a 20 minute drive to the park from here.
