This is a hidden gem in the Steelton area. I've had subs from everywhere else around town, and hands down, these guys make some of if not the best subs in town. The cheese steak was addictingly delicious. Real beef, not steak-umms. Plenty of caramelized onions and Whiz. I couldn't stop eating it. I wanted to save half, but that didn't happen. Plenty of seating for dine in if needed, with a tv. The Mrs had the salad with tuna salad. What a huge serving! Plenty of greens and enough tuna salad for 2 light lunches or one hearty one. They close early unfortunately, so get them before they close. I'll definitely be back many more times, as there are many more subs to try, if I don't get another cheese steak. I highly recommend this place. Seriously, try a cheese steak, you won't be disappointed.

Mr. R's is one of my favorite places to stop for lunch or to pick something up before they close to have for dinner that night. They have exceptional customer service. Their top shelf Italian sub is delicious. Great quality meats/cheeses and their sub rolls are always so fresh. I can't wait to continue to try different menu items that they have to offer!

It is definitely not much to look at but the food is very good with high quality ingredients. The price seems a little steep, but high quality ingredients cost more than low quality. The employees are very friendly and care about their customers happiness with their experience. I have ordered custom subs from here with ingredients they have on hand and they happily obliged. The cons are minimal. The dining area is minimal and the hours are very limited. It is very understandable for a small business in small building. I try to plan accordingly. At this time they close daily at 3pm. Check it out for yourself. PS the subs are very large so order accordingly.

First time here. Went by and found it by accident. Yelp reviews were good. Glad we stopped. You name it hot or cold subs they had it. We had cheese steak, and Italian sub. Different sizes for diff subs, some 6, some 10 and a very large 19 inch sub. Hot day usually can polish off large subs but decided on the middle size. Both had great taste, great choice of toppings. Bread is brought in from Philly. Really really good. Owner came out and talk to us for a little. Will eat here soon and add to our list of must haves often. Prices were reasonable. Thanks for great food and good service.

I go here pretty often as it is close to where I work. They make a very good sub and typically are not super busy. The subs are about $8 for a foot long. I typically get the philly style or the top shelf supreme sub which are very good! I would say a downside is that when it gets busy the service can be slow and they do not offer fountain drinks.

Great subs! Love the Italian subs here, perfect amount of meats and veggies. Rolls are awesome and the use of top quality meats make these the best subs in Harrisburg! Highly recommend!!

Excellent subs and sandwiches ! I highly recommend the cheese steak sandwich, you'll be hard pressed to find a better one within driving distance.

If you haven't gone here for a cheese steak than you have not tried all the good places in the Harrisburg area for cheese steaks. They are excellent here! The prices are average and they may not put quite enough cheese on the steak for me but the overall taste is probably the best in the area. You can get extra cheese of course. The bread is fabulous (from a top Phila baker) and the steak is the freshest I have ever tasted on a cheese steak anywhere in the country, so far. The fries were also really good as was the fresh steak burger. I will be trying other stuff from the menu soon!
