Just got around to trying this place even though it's a block away. Every time I have passed it I made a mental note to give it a shot, but just stuck to my normal take out options anyway. Well today it popped into my head in the afternoon and I started looking forward to trying them for dinner. It did not disappoint! Quesadillas... on point! Burrito... on point! Loaded Mac pretty good. Hot chicken sandwich: excellent. Everyone was happy and enjoying good food. I'm happy to add them to my local standards for when I decide not to cook. They were extremely fast, courteous, and friendly.

This place is fantastic. I get the sense that maybe they worked out some kinks... food is consistently fantastic. The tacos are all grilled and melty- kind of like a hybrid "Americanized" taco but still with fresh ingredients like a true Mexican taco. The chicken was just as good as Asads for sure. Will continue to come back! Staff is super friendly too.

We stopped for a quick lunch. I ordered the shrimpa taco, the shrimp was crunchy and the sauce was flavorful but I did not like the addition of corn. I would've preferred pico and cilantro. Once tacos were served they were cold. I wished my tortillas were heated prior to serving.

This is a really tough spot to succeed in, and I'm rooting for them to pull through. Right now, though, they've definitely got some kinks to work out. First off, the food takes forever--even with a small menu and not many people dining. If they can speed things up, that alone would be a major improvement. Something about the way the kitchen's being run just isn't clicking at the moment. Flavor-wise, everything tastes a bit too much like pizza for a taco spot. I'm not sure what's causing it, maybe the greasy cheese/bell peppers combo? It's interesting, though not necessarily bad. What does feel completely half-baked is the total lack of hot sauces. For a halal taco restaurant, you'd think hot sauces are a no brainer. These guys apparently didn't think so, that's odd right? On the plus side, the ambiance is simple and inoffensive, so there's nothing to dislike there. Here's hoping they iron out the hiccups, because I'd love to see them thrive in this challenging location.

Was expecting some impressive tacos and the taco menu was not it. Tried the hot chicken sandwich cause they serve hot chicken. Sure why not? They were fairly bland and tough. Even chains like Dave's hot chicken is doing it better. I wanted to like them but sadly did not.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. This was the worst "mexican" food I've ever had, and I've eaten Mexican food Atleast once a week for 2 years now. Actually...This is the worst food period. I cannot believe this place is even allowed to be called a Mexican place. The Birria tacos were recommended from an employee so we tried and holy cinnamon, that's the only thing you can taste. Trust me. DO NOT GET THE BIRRIA!! And they're not even Birria tacos, they add peppers to the thing! Also wasn't made with corn tortillas and the consomé is in the smallest container known to man. The nachos were better than movies nachos but not better than fair food. It's just cheese wiz so don't expect anything else. The chicken bowl is just cold chicken cubes with rice and only black beans no pinto beans. Don't even bother paying extra for the queso, go down the road to the giant and get your own in the chips isle because that's exactly what they use anyway. Pico is also just tomatoes, not sure why they wouldn't just say tomatoes. Tbh is was very disappointing. They'll be closed soon
