I was pleasantly surprised with this steakhouse...particularly this branch. After a colleague told me that among the branches in Philadelphia this was by far the best one. So I went and wasn't disappointed. Their food is always well seasoned and comes out great. I have visited this place a few times now and their steaks were really good. The staff are friendly and the place even restroom was clean. There's always a lot of people eating in this branch but it's never a long wait. Most of the time, we are seated as soon as we arrive. I'm so glad I have a restaurant to go to whenever I crave for steak.

This was a very pleasant surprise. I've been to Outback steakhouses a number of times, but I've never been to a Longhorn. I had salmon, which came with a side of rice, a loaded baked potato, and asparagus. Ordering fish at a steakhouse is usually a loser move, but this was delicious, large, and perfectly cooked. My wife had a bone-in ribeye. Obviously, it wasn't dry aged Wagyu, but it was a nice piece of meat for the price. Kids were happy with their meals as swell. For dessert we split the Stampede, which is a truly epic chain restaurant dessert: two huge pieces of cake with two huge scoops of ice cream. More than enough for our family of four. Service was excellent, as was the value. We paid $120 for a big steak, a big piece of salmon, two kids meals, a huge dessert, and three 20 ounce beers. Cons: - Both steaks came undercooked. Medium rare was rare and medium was medium rare. We didn't mind and didn't send them back, but they weren't right. - The loaded baked potato could have been a little bigger and a little bit more loaded - By the end of the dinner rush the restaurant needed some TLC. There was a chicken bone on the floor when we left and I'm told the lady's room was not in great shape. Overall, an unexpectedly great experience.

I choose to write this here because Longhorn's website will only allow 2000 characters. On the eve of Wednesday, May 21, 2025 we decided to take my Mother-in-Law to Longhorn on Old York Road for a 70th Birthday dinner after hearing such great reviews. Well, that was not the case!!! We were seated immediately after all of our guests arrived, just six of us. Our server walked us to a booth, a very tight booth for six people. We immediately asked if we could sit at an open table since there were so many open and readily available. No problem! After some time, our order was taken. Our order was taken and after a while we received our orders. Well, not my husband who only ordered mashed potatoes. The manager came to our table to ask how everything was, it was at the point I interjected to let the manager know my husband had not received his mashed potatoes. The manager offered to get them but at the point of waiting a bit my Husband declined. The manager asked him three times and my Husband said "no thank you, I am fine". We received our food but never saw our server again. We weren't asked if we needed steak sauce, wipes or drinks refilled...nothing because she never returned. One of our guests got up from the table to ask for ketchup and caught the eye of another server and asked them to get it. Now we have our food and are done. I got the attention of another server and asked if they could retrieve our check so we could pay our bill and leave. Well, that took another long period of time. But by this time we were all annoyed by the wait. Keep in mind, to me, the restaurant was not overcrowded at all. I went to the front desk, no one was there. I stood there for probably seven minutes before a waitress walked by and I asked to speak with the manager. While waiting for the manager, the young lady who was supposed to be at the desk arrived asking what I needed. I told her I asked to see the manager and was waiting for him. The manager, Marco Coronado eventually came after another three minutes. I begin to tell Marco about the sub-par service and how long we have been waiting and how we haven't seen our server. He begins to tell me how its our fault that we asked to move to another table. I say to him, "so what you are saying is, because we decided to move we don't get great service and an attentive server" and he says yes. I said please explain to me how where we sit in the restaurant determines our level of customer service and satisfaction. He began to raise his voice while continuing to tell me its our fault for asking to move. Because he continued to overtalk me, I said may I please have your business card because I no longer wish to have this conversation with you in this manner. He was so rude to me I didn't have a chance to speak to him about our food experience. Never in my life of going to any establishment high-end or low-end have I had a manager speak to me in such a rude and distasteful manner. Although I don't need to be right in a situation but respected, whatever happened to the customer is always right. Never in life have I left an establishment and not tipped our server, this should be evident by the lack of service received. Mr. Coronado needs sensitivity training so he can learn empathy when dealing with the needs of others...customers visiting your establishment!!!

Longhorn has always been one of my favorite quick food spots. Back in undergrad, I used to go at least once a week for their drinks, like the mango long pour, and their appetizers, especially during football season. Since graduating, I haven't gotten the chance to eat here in a while, but I stopped by last week and was happy to see the food is still just as consistent and tasty as it was when I was in college. This time, we ordered the wings, a hamburger with mac and cheese (no bacon), corn on the cob, and spicy chicken bites. Everything came out well. I definitely recommend the corn if you haven't tried it yet; it's a must. The burger was solid, and the spicy chicken bites were pretty good too (I like pairing them with the chicken wrap sauce). The atmosphere is split into two; one part has a sporty vibe, featuring TVs at the bar, while the dining area and overall aesthetic reflect a Western style with plenty of wood and rustic decor. The service is quick and friendly, contributing to an enjoyable dining experience. This makes it an ideal spot to watch games, hang out with friends, or simply enjoy dinner. I would say Longhorn is a great spot to chill and have decent food for a decent price.

Sat at bar. 2 bartenders and about 10 seats at the bar. Very slowwww service. Son got his steak and they forgot to cook my entree. No lie. Later that night, Son and I had extreme stomach cramps. Something was bad.

I was out running errands and decided to stop at Longhorns. I haven't been to a Longhorns for a couple of years and was surprised that there was one at this location in Jenkintown. This particular Longhorns use to be Chili's about a year ago. I was pleasantly surprised at how it was completely changed. Decorated very nicely! It was early afternoon, so we ordered from the lunch menu. I decided on the half-pound steakhouse cheeseburger with lettuce, tomatoes, and onions with a cup of loaded potatoe soup. Everything was fresh and delicious. My burger was much bigger than I had anticipated, and my soup was thick, hot, and flavorful. Along with my strawberry lemonade, I was completely satisfied. I forgot to mention that they bring complimentary hot bread and butter to your table too! The staff was friendly and bathroom was clean. I would recommend Longhorns and I will be back.

We should've known better Like the outback up the street Food service, and ambience This place needs a full overall from front to back from management to staff, and it definitely wouldn't hurt to upgrade their appearance We came in for the Parmesan lamb chops Which basically look like somebody threw up cheese on top of these lamb chops they weren't impressed. The lamb chops were tough and the sad part is how do you screw up mashed potatoes? Well, let me tell you Longhorn might be the master of screwing up mashed potatoes. When asked if there are any good places to eat in or around Jenkintown most people in this neighborhood say go to Philadelphia or go past Willow Grove It's sad, but it's true If you're looking for a cheap fast food outback Longhorns are around

My, my, my....DELICIOUS. Despite the rain outside, it was warm and cozy inside. Me and my besties celebrated an early Christmas during this outing. From appetizers to desserts, everything was spot on. The shared appetizer was the Wild West Shrimp; spicy peppers with subtle spicy breading on the shrimp. Entrees consisted of New York Strip steak, Parmesan Crusted Chicken, and the Half-Pound Steakhouse burger. Needless to say we dined sufficiently. Dessert consisted of cheesecake, creamy and sweet. Our server was excellent; despite the crowd, she treated us as if we were the only ones there--superb! Awesome experience; highly recommend.

This place used to be good. Over the past year it has declined. The table was not clean. The menus was sticky! The booth was dusty!. The worst part was my potato was rotten! It was all black inside! I asked the waitress to take the potato off the bill and she checked with the manager. It was included with the meal so it could not be taken off. The manager did not even come by see. This is the last time I will be going to this place. So sad how pride in ones place of work is a thing of the past.

Longhorn's pretty consistent whenever I visit any location. Decided to try something different and ordered the chicken covered w/cheese and sweet potato w/butter and cinnamon sugar. No one had any complaints about the steak taste or the cooking of it. My chichi was decent and the service was attentive.
