As an anniversary gift for my husband, I wanted to get picture framed painted by his great grandmother. I will admit, I've used the online frame companies before but knew this project needed more specialized TLC. I found Art of Framing and figured I'd try them out. I'm so glad I did! Sok took his time to help explain my options, frame and glass selection, border material, everything! There were options at several different price points. The picture reveal made my husband and I teary eyed. He and Melissa truly breathed new life into a family heirloom. I'm so grateful for their care and expertise!

Infinite stars to Melissa and Sok if that were an option! I had a relative's over 100-year-old newspaper auction notice that, at some point, hung outside on a barn in rural MD. The 2'4'-ish notice was folded into size 5x8 and clearly deteriorating. While I forgot to take a picture before, the after is truly impressive. Melissa carefully steamed/ironed our family keepsake and placed it on an acid-free board to prevent further deterioration. The museum glass and her suggestion to reverse mat made the piece pop even more. I cannot say enough about Sok & Melissa's kindness and expertise - they are outstanding and unparalleled. And if you can't find a frame from the thousands (literally) available in their shop, then something is clearly wrong with you. We've found our lifetime framers and will be back - Thanks Melissa & Sok!

I rarely give 5 stars. When we recently acquired an oil pastel piece we decided to not only have it but a giclée we've had in storage framed. We've had a bunch of art framed in Northern California but never here. They were amazing. Their combination of an artist's' perspective and understanding the importance of the tones in framing and matting made the artwork, even more so, original. Super nice and accommodating. Experts in their craft. We highly recommend.

Because it was a gift, I finally got to hang my piece 2 months later. I called the shop for tips and Sok spent the time, over the phone, to do all of the math for me and carefully explain how to hang it. Now it's sitting beautifully and LEVEL(!!!) above my mantel. I continue to be impressed with my experience with this company. Would highly recommend!

I love this shop!! We had several prints matted and framed and also some older numbered lithographs that are sentimental pieces. As soon as you meet the owners you will want to work with them. They do amazing work and they are so helpful and accommodating every step of the way. I could not be more thrilled with my pictures. The mats and frames are gorgeous and I could not have put this together without Sok and Melissa. They are true artists!! You are provided with the best customer service and expertise. We just had four antique prints framed here. Melissa knew exactly what materials to use to make the prints stand out. She "floated" the prints on the mat, something we never would have thought of. Not only do they look beautiful, they were within out budget and done in under a week.

A+++. What a fabulous local business. We have used them for framing, as well as a hanging consultation when we moved into our new house and wanted to arrange our art on a large wall in a museum/collage style. In all respects, they are skilled, thoughtful, and meticulous, and I would recommend their services to anyone.
