We just tried the close by New Beginnings Diner. Soooooo goooooood! The owner came out and quickly sold me on a special. Chicken (breasts marinated by her and so moist), bacon, bbq (she makes the sauce) sandwich melt on Texas toast. It was huge, delicious, and I only ate half. (The leftovers were good too.) Hand cut fries. My friend had a Philly cheesesteak melt special w/ hand cut sirloin and ate it all! Also got food to go and the folks at home were happy. Floors were a little sticky, but that will not keep me from coming back to this comfortable, welcoming, yummy diner!

Wasn't sure about this place since it didn't have good ratings but tried it despite. Though it's a very old diner it smelled clean and the service was slow since there was only one person taking orders and running drinks and serving etc. The owner came out to take our orders. I took her suggestion for my breakfast sandwich and was very pleased with the breakfast. She seasoned everything just right! The menu layout is not uniformly appealing font wise. It seemed to be all over the place and no desserts were listed. I didn't ask neither since I was in a rush to get on my day. The location was easy to find and plenty of parking spots in the lot.

First impressions it's a diner! So we came in sign says seat yourself! Quite a few un cleaned Tables we picked a clean one out sat down saw others coming in grabbing menus we were passed by a few workers never greeted we sat for about 15 minutes I got up to get menus when I got back the wife informed me a person finally asked if we wanted drinks! We looked at the menus I brought they were lunch- dinner we were looking for breakfast and asked a worker for one! sat for another 10 minutes or so looking at menus kept noticing none of the other tables were getting any food or actually waited on. We decided to leave! Not a very good first impression! It's a diner??? What could improve? Start with customer services!

PSA: New Beginnings Diner in Lemoyne BEWARE!! 1st the woman running it is a peach (NOT) Food came out undercooked and raw (scrapple). Paid for my drinks and tipped the server ,no offer to recook it, was cussed out by said female and chased into the parking lot after she cussed me out in front of other guests including young kids. Completely disgusting behavior and establishment!! I wish I would've got pics of food before leaving smh. Don't waste your time or money. Only giving 1 star because I have to but if I could give -50 I would for how gross this woman's mouth was!!

Have had excellent breakfast experiences for both takeout and dine-in, with a variety of dishes ordered. Service is friendly and efficient, everything you want in a weekend diner experience. Dining area was very clean, with homey decor. Food is cooked well, with generous portions. I am fussy about eggs, and these were perfect.

Ate here for the first time tonight. The food was all very good. I would recommend for sure. Prices were good as well. I had chili and a reuben which came with fries. All very good..fries are hand cut... Similar to boardwalk fries. Wife had the "Messy Burger" which also came with fries. She reports... Yes it is messy but was very good. Mom-in-law had the open face turkey which came with mashed potatoes. This too was declared very good. While eating, others in the resteraunt were also commenting on how good things were.

Don't bother. We ordered 3 very simple menu items. Took an hour for food and then it didn't all come out at once anyway. Food was mediocre. Chicken sandwich was just okay. My husband's eggs were overdone. My appetizer platter had no taste. Chicken fingers were burnt. Definitely would not recommend

So let me start with the service was the best part about this place the staff are very friendly and accommodating that being said that was about the only good thing happening here unfortunately so when you walk in your greeted by a sign that says to grab a menu and seat yourself so the greeting at the door your accustomed to getting with every other diner yeah your not getting that here So you go to these tables I got a booth it was very very small for me the wife and my kid we did not have a lot of extra room to put out coats and anyone with kids know they come with there own stuff to deal with so that was not real nice We ordered our food and it took a long time to come out the waitress said they had a new cook in the back and apologized a lot the coffee was ok I've had worse for sure So I ordered the cream chip beef over toast I asked for them to put it on my home fries as well the wife got the big and tall and the kid got a cheese omelet I was not able to eat my food I did try it (against my better judgment) it did not even look like cream chip beef it looked like a bunch of brown beef glazed with something on it idk what it smelled like sausage I did ask the waitress about it and she said it's homemade there was no gravy to it whatsoever just meat and it was not good it was salty and seasoned weird My wife was not happy with the pancakes that came with her food she said they tasted bad idk more then that my daughter only ate some toast and bacon she did not like the way the eggs were prepared They did not charge me for my breakfast which was nice of them and it was not real expensive they do have some issues with reading cards for payment they use phones to do the transactions and they are glitchy Overall I can not recommend this place the first impression of it definitely needs some work if I had to guess someone who has no idea how to run a diner opened a diner and and just guessing as they go everything about that place screams idk what I'm doing form everyone having different coffee mugs to seating yourself to the bad food to not have a stream lined way to pay for your food they have little cups( like for jello shooter) filled with butter and jelly and honey the have syrup in ketchup jars and creamer in salt shakers just all the waitresses are ok just need to be a little more talkative or engage more than just take my order and bail

When this place first announced they were opening, my family was very excited to try it out. The owners are very genuine and want to see this place grow. I love seeing that in a community. The food was really good and the service had character and charm. That unfortunately was it. the second time we returned for lunch we waited for over an hour and ultimately had to change our orders to go, only to get back to work and see that things were missing. I always try to give places a second chance to that's what we did this morning. On the Facebook page, a buffet was advertised from 10-12. My family arrived and was very eager to enjoy a good quick breakfast. We got there around 10:15 and was told the buffet wasn't ready yet. So we ordered coffee and waited, and waited. finally our drinks arrived and the buffet still wasn't ready. At 10:40 we decided to leave and go somewhere else to eat. I really want to see this place succeed but I'm not sure I can reccomend it until things start changing. Which is a real shame because it could be great for the area.

This location is where a Chinese restaurant sat before. The inside has been completely redone.11:00 on a Tuesday when I walked in there was a baby running around in a walker .service was a little awkward but was not unprofessional. Server knew the menu and answered all my questions.They had a really great special for the day I was there. And the place got extremely crowded. This place is new and they will some growing pains. It family owned. I do recommend this place. My meal was very good. And I would definitely come back.
