The food is really good! I love the sneaky sauce, it's a home made ranch with dill. It's so good with the wings! My bf had the cheese steak and it was juicy and delicious. They are very good ppl here and good food. They do specials sometimes on Monday. They have fries, tots, chicken tenders, wings, and cheese steak for now. More to come I was told! Great food and vibes!

i remember my grandpop takeing me in there when i was about 10 years old. sitting me at the bar and getting a coke. today I'm 66, so there you go, that's how old this place is

The great thing about the Park Tavern is that, the whole time you're in there, it seems like somebody's mother is going to come downstairs, ask what the ruckus is, and chase you out. It's just a relaxed place in Palmyra (which is just on the other side of the Taconey Palmyra Bridge, my Philly phriends) which clearly used to be a house. The bartender is friendly and is enthusiastic about his hiccup remedy. They do have some food, but it's really a place to come and watch a game and have a beer. Maybe shoot on the pool table or throw some darts.

This used to be a fun local tavern. I hadn't been there in years and was not surprised when I went in and it was exactly as I remembered ( which is not necessarily a bad thing ). Most of the bartenders are nice although it is easy to be ignored or overlooked if you don't speak up. Not sure how often the kitchen concession changes but it seems it is different every time I go in. It has a VERY different clientele from weeknight to weekend night when the crowd is much younger. And you have to walk through a crowd of outside smokers to get into either entrance which is nasty.

I grew up around the corner from this place. They use to have amazing pizza, but they don't serve food anymore. The tavern itself has the smell I know all too well, which is sour beer, mold and bleach. It seemed like a bit of a pit.

I remember my Father taking into the Park Tavern for the first which was in 1969. I used to live in Palmyra from 1968 to 1973 and my Aunt still lives their down in The Harbour. I've been going to The Park Tavern for years now whenever I'm in Palmyra and its the best in town. The drinks are reasonable and the local crowd of regulars are friendly. In fact I met one of my best friends 7 years ago there. The bartenders Joe and Dave are really cool and the pizza at the bar is very tasty. So if you're in Palmyra, stop at The Park Tavern. Don't go to recently open Curran's on Broad St, they're more expensive and have $10 buckets and you only get 4 bottles and at The Park Tavern it $6 buckets and you get 5 bottles on Tuesday nights. Thats a much better deal.

I grew up going to this bar. Haven't been there in a while. Walked in there last night, Halloween night, with two friends. Right away the smell of hot piss hit me. It's bad. Something has got to be wrong with the plumbing. Wasn't going to walk out without drinking one beer. The bar was empty. Bar tender took our order, gave us our drinks. I forgot they don't take credit, put credit card on bar as soon as we sat down. Befor we orders drinks. After the bar tender gives us our drinks he tells me they don't take credit. I ran out to car to get cash. Came back to find the three beers we orders and a mixed drink we didn't order. Ask the bar tender what the mixed drink was and he said my friend asked for a vodka and cranberry. No way he asked for that. He would never ask for that. After talking with the bar tender he insisted we pay for it. Bad time all around. Didn't finish our beers and left.
