Loved the atmosphere of Picnic and the aesthetic of the building. Service was great and very attentive. Had to knock food down a star. Every dish we got had awesome flavor, but portions are hilariously small for the price. Cheeses are sold by the slice, so I definitely recommend getting a meat dish paired with them. Chicken was perfectly cooked and very juicy. Oysters and clams were fresh and  wonderfully chilled. The sauces are great compliments to the dishes. Fries were hot and crispy.  And the strawberry gimlet was delectable. Our group ordered pretty much half the menu and even doubled on dishes, but didn't feel full at the end of dinner, dessert included. Overall, definitely worth a try, but do yourself a favor and get a reservation. People were waiting for over an hour and some got denied at the door.

Cool vibes, family style small plates. Rotisserie chicken and grilled oysters were phenomenal. Other highlights: chicory salad, fries, and cauliflower croquettes. We tried a few cocktails and they were creative and pretty good. Wine list is extensive.

Food was so fresh and the whole experience was amazing. Food came out quickly, and even though you don't have a designated server, everyone constantly checks in on you. Its nice to be able to pay the check and leave whenever you want! Get the anchovy salsa verde sauce and the lettuce salad! Oysters were amazing as well.

I’ve seen very mixed reviews since this recently opened, but I’m so glad I got to try it for myself. I had a great experience! The restaurant is a converted warehouse and it looks beautiful inside.

Highlights: chicken (you HAVE to try), fries were perfect, watermelon salad and chamoy margarita

Just OK: the bread served with the cheese was really tough to chew and the chocolate cake I wasn’t a fan of

Our server, Jake, was really helpful. The prices are on the higher side, and a few items didn’t knock my socks off, but I’d definitely come back.

Our group tried quite a few of the items on the menu and everything was good! Oysters were fresh and the sauces added great flavors. The watermelon salad was simple yet effectively refreshing with savory elements. The sausage had a special flavor profile that made it a standout. Chicken was tender and juicy and the skin was perfectly crisp.
Strawberry gimlet was just the right amount of sweet and fruity. The Picnic Seltzer was slightly pineapple, but had a spice forward taste.
Highly recommend making a reservation as we had to wait for over an hour for a table. Luckily there are other spots nearby to go for pre-dinner drinks. The bar at Picnic is standing only, which would probably work just fine for a shorter wait time.
Overall vibe is a step above casual, but certainly not too fancy. Seems like they are willing to accommodate larger groups with pre-made reservations since there is space for large tables to be set up. Very cool building and happy to see it has been preserved and repurposed!
