As this is my third order I had come to understand that some of the chefs will place a small loaf of bread in for the salads. I requested one..never got it, seeing as how I spent $60 for two salads and wings. I knew it was Yelp worthy! I requested that my wings be fried "lightly" there is a picture attached! Please help me understand does that look like a chicken wing that was fried lightly or hard??????? I'll wait!... Maybe it was the snarky toned front desk lady that called to confirm that I needed to pay an additional four dollars for tomatoes cucumbers and that they had no black olives but only Kalamata... which I question "this is a pizzeria you don't have black olives???" she reports NO because I like olives in general I said OK fine. I gave an additional four dollars to the delivery man, Looked inside and did not find the small loaf of bread that I had been given when I ordered a single salad last December from the same restaurant. One day people will understand the value of YELP , we get to learn our restaurants and other businesses traits habits procedures and protocols from this little tiny app. Instead of calling and being exposed to the same snarky BS... I grinned and beared it. I thought to myself what part of lightly fried is this?. What kind of customer service is this?. The salads look bodacious as I am looking forward to that wonderful tuna Caesar , but a part of me wished that I would've gotten that little tiny bread loaf and that I would not have an up charged four dollars for tomato cucumber and olives as I was able to pay for the extra Caesar on my own in the app I ordered with slice.com. I gave the driver $4.00. Unfortunately this will be my last order with Apex . They say the third times a charm and I beg to differ:( Pros: the food is delicious even if I have to scratch the top of my mouth raw from these hardened chicken wings with some being "midget chicken wings" which I wonder is there a midget chicken Farm somewhere that grows "baby tiny chicken wings" to Apex so that they can sell them to unknowing consumers?!???? Cons: Its BUYER beware!, YOU MUST ASK THAT ALL OF THE WINGS ARE NORMAL SIZED AND NOT MIDGET SIZED. We must ask Apex is it possible to have black olives like most pizzerias across America and beyond?!... The last order I lacked utensils and I had to deal with that as I was in Saunders rehab at their mercy. For a Pizzeria that's been an institution for many years I do believe that they could do better and that's the only reason I am greatly disappointed in my order. I dare not call back being exposed to a dragon over the phone. We're talking Bala Cynwyd here!. Where no one admits wrongdoing and throws the brunt of responsibility back to the person that they actually rubbed the wrong way!.. I get it, it's only chicken and salad but look ..it cost me a mint today and I had great expectations that were quickly dashed once I opened my bag and saw what they sent me!. **It's simple, Do better!, Your customers are how you pay the mortgages on your businesses & homes right??? those European whips right???. #neveragain Thank God for YELP!!!!

Apex Pizza has Good Pizza & Excellent Salads. Their Grilled Chicken Ceasar Salad & Chef Salad is filled with fresh meat and plenty of veggies. Their service is prompt & courteous. It's a family affair at our house!

35-minute delivery eta turned into 2 hours. Worst of all, the pizza was bland af. One star because the pizza eventually arrived.

Don't be fooled by the hole-in-the-wall nature of this place. It has excellent "neighborhood pizza joint" food - not just pizza but steaks and wings and even the Salads are super fresh and worth getting. Richard the owner is a bonus -friendly and a quality person. This is the kind of neighborhood business we should all want to support.

It checked the boxes for a standard cheese pizza. I wish there was a little more sauce. It had a good crust. The cheese fries were also crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
