I almost went lower, but I think this rating is fair. To me the concept of Blazers is great but leaves a ton to be desired. I've had it a handful of times now, most recently last night. The chicken tenders are good - but honestly most of the food strikes me as frozen food they are frying up (at least that's how it tastes). My other big gripe is the wait time. It's supposed to be late night munchie food, but unless you're getting a single slice of pizza to go, be prepared to wait 15-20 mins for mozzarella sticks & empanadas. the mozz sticks were especially average. the inside is clean and orderly and staff is nice too. Just really think the food is very mediocre and takes way too long. Their are other places open late to get better food in the area.

Got the vegan buffalo chik'n pizza and some nuggets, and the Elvis cookies. One order of the cookies comes with 2 x cookies, so if you only need 2 cookies, just order 1. Hope that makes sense. We would have been happy to dine in, even though there's not a ton of tables, but it was a million degrees outside, and they didn't have a/c. No worries, they do takeout quite happily, and our Air BnB was around the corner anyways. If it's a hot as heck day, just call ahead and place an order to go, because the wait while the sun is blazing outside, and the restaurant is hotter than heck is not great. Mind you, we didn't wait a LONG time. I think the whole order took maybe 15 minutes tops to get to us. That was fine. It was just that it was so hot outside and inside that we were both dying by the time we got our food. We know to call ahead and just come pick up when the food is ready next time. Lesson learned! The pizza was good, but the omni fiancee said that he wasn't huge on the cheese, but gave it a pass as it was vegan cheese and he's not got the highest expectations. I'm not sure what brand they're using, but at home, we use whatever vegan cheese is cheapest, like the Walmart brand, or Daiya, or Violife. However, at home we tend to go light on the cheese, so that it doesn't form a solid mass like it did on the pizza we ordered. Instead, it maintains the shred like look, and stays on top of the pizza. If the cheese is on there too generously, it turns liquid, and kind of wants to behave like a solid mass. Mind you, we still at the heck out of that pizza, because the dough was excellent, the sauce was lovely, and the buffalo chik'n was delicious. It was exactly what we were craving. The nuggets were nuggets. We ate them down to nothing. No complaints there. The cookies were a mixed bag. Omni fiancee said the cookies were too dry so he didn't finish his. I finished mine, because I loved the peanut butter coming through. I guess if you're coming with omnis, avoid anything cheese heavy, and stick to the other stuff? Either way, food was banging on a day that we didn't feel like heating up the kitchen.
