No Car for you! Thank you Enterprise - I confirmed and paid for my booking just to arrive and be told "whoops, we are out of cars." Family stuck with no wheels on our vacation. We will no longer use your services. This wasn't a slight oversight - and even after several phone calls - the answer to us was the same - No car for you! Ruined our vacation.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! Spoke with multiple customer service representatives and they gave me incorrect information . When we went to pick up the car told us we couldn't , then when requested a refund due to the mess up THEY did . They denied it !! This was Literally My Best Rental experience. Raheem was extremely patient with me, I called everyday for a week and a half straight. He picked up every time and helped me with any and every question I asked. He was so patient and well mannered, even tho I called being annoying everyday. Raheem You're Amazing you ! My experience at the actual branch was very easy and faster. Caroline is the best ! She was really sweet & so well mannered. she gave me any and every option possible, She was very patient and answered all my questions & gave me a lot of good advice !! Thank you Guys These pass few months been rough and you guys made what was once a long journey every pleasing when I finally was able to get a rental

Great experience, I was running late(really) late. And I was in a rush. The young lady by the name of Shanique was a great help, her smile and awesome personality had me in a vehicle exactly 8mins of me waking in the door. I knew they were closing in a few mins of my arrival but her pleasant attitude had me walking out of Enterprise happy and saying wow GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Instead of 5 stars , Ill give this young lady 10 stars.

The Enterprise located at 5847 N. Broad Street in Philadelphia...I just wanna say fantastic customer service. From the manager Tanisha on down to the employees. I would highly recommend this rental place for any vehicle need. They worked with me during the time of a highly frustrating insurance claim. Big ups to everyone here at Enterprise. This is a highly unusual car rental location - very strong focus on customer service, having conversations with customers, and presenting (perhaps even an excess of) information with a smile. Don't think I've encountered that at a rental car location anywhere else...in the world actually. I'm used to the usual rental car games, so I have everything efficiently set up in advance (all prefs on rental car company profiles, etc.), with my own documentation processes, and I don't need any instructions for the car or return terms, so I found the pickup / drop-off process slightly long-winded. They also seem to place a large security deposit ($300-400) credit card hold on pickup, which seemed a bit unusual, and availability of particular classes may be an issue. However, I ended up in a slightly unusual situation requiring the location's approval for a modification en route, and they were very helpful. I also think the time bit overall was significantly outweighed by the impact that the superior service experience provided by this location's employees must have on customers who are less frequent consumers of rental car services than me. Overall, while there are some areas for potential improvement, big kudos to whoever decided to push on the customer experience / training front at this location - in an industry full of poor customer service throughout.

Enterprise loves to advertise it's $9.99/a day weekend special, but neglects to mention that all locations in or near downtown Philadelphia do NOT participate in that special. So I dug around online to find the North Philly location & chose it because it appeared to have the car type in stock that I wanted (compact). The fun began when I called to take advantage of another often mentioned gimmick - we'll pick you up. No, this location would not be picking us up because there was another Enterprise closer to us. That Enterprise was not participating in the weekend special, of course, which is why we did not choose it, but like I said--the fun was just getting started. So we hopped onto the subway & found Enterprise to be full of employees, something like 5 at the time, none of whom could possibly have picked us up like the company slogan says. Patrick helped us at the counter, and though his personality was extremely delightful, he gave us a bit of enraging news. No economy cars available. No compact. No intermediate. No full size. No premium. So I'll UPGRADE YOU to an SUV for FREE! We needed the car so we took it, but clearly sir, receiving an SUV when I wanted a compact is a DOWNGRADE of highest proportions given today's economy and gas prices. Getting the car that you actually reserved online is not a matter of being the first person into the dealership. It's a little more complicated than that, so here's a genius idea that I'll donate to the company for FREE! Create and utilize computer software that will allow a designated employee to review reservations as they are made and then determine whether someone's reservation can be met properly. Upon returning the stupid gas guzzler, the manager said that he was out when we made our res, but that he would have called us ahead of time had he been in. Unfortunately, he is apparently the only one who would have thought to do that. Too little, too late, good sir. Key takeaways for Enterprise on North Broad: -promote Patrick immediately -create a standardized protocol for promptly notifying people of reservation/actual availability mismatches -if the car reserved is of a lower "class" than the car available, give the customer a BREAK on GAS Arg.

Avoid this particular location if at all possible. I was in a hurry and didn't take time to read other negative reviews, I ended up paying $500. Here's how it went down: The manager was nice, if a little pushy. Things got a little weird when he tried to get me to go for the full coverage (which I declined because my credit card offered protection), but a lot of rental places insist on this additional charge so I didn't think twice. Then the car they gave me was a) dirty inside and out and b) had low tired pressure (the lite was on). I always check the car carefully for scratches. I did this as usual and whatever scratches I pointed out to the employee she just waived off. Then she gave me a ride in my rental car to where my friend's car was parked. She spilled her coffee drink in the driver's seat. She told me, again, not to worry about it because they would detail the car later and that I wouldn't be charged with anything. When we returned the car, they claimed that one of the scratches that was on the door before, that we pointed out and they said it was nothing, was our fault. They agreed not to charge us until we filed a claim with their department and talked to our credit card/insurance company. When we got home they had charged our credit card $1000. I couldn't believe any of this. They eventually removed the $1000 but we (credit card company) ended up paying $500. They said Enterprise does this often and the costs to go to trial with them would be more than the $500. This branch was just terrible from start to finish. It's too bad, because I actually preferred Enterprise (because of the Car Share system) prior to this experience. Now I go anywhere but this branch.

Customer service nice but they never have vehicles when they open which forces you to upgrade. They tell you vehicles come in at 9 or 9:30 when your reservation us at 7:30am. I should have more then one option for a vehicle rental. The prices are good even though they hold $400 on your credit card and the same for debit but you have to show two bills in your name to go along with the identity. I just recommend them to have more options for rental vehicle for economy or compact and all they have is the same red fiat.
