This is a review based on two trips to this restaurant. The pizza's decent and the fries are good. The employees however are rude and the business practices are questionable. I ordered a pizza and fries but only got the pizza. Thankfully I hadn't paid yet. The guy fixed my order. I was charged more the first time then the guy at the counter said I was and didn't give me a receipt so I asked for one this time. He got made and said "the d*mn kids always need something". I was glad I did because I was charged $6 for my quoted $5.25 bill. They said they charge 25 cents to pay with card which is not posted anywhere. They said the sign had been taken down. Sign or no sign the math doesn't work. So if you have cash and are short on time this could be the place for you but I won't be back.

I just had lunch there. There was hardly anyone there at all. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with mozzarella on wheat. I got a tiny fried chicken sandwich on a hamburger bun with no mozzarella. I was charged for what I ordered, which was more expensive. You had one job. I was there the other day too and ordered a veggie burger. I guess I should have asked, but I was really disappointed when they gave it to me fried. Who fries veggie burgers? I'm done with this place.

Only two of the joints along Anderson Hall take debit cards, so my options were limited as I found a place to eat. I went to Fame's--which is not famous--and enjoyed a spicy BBQ chicken hoagie ($6.50). My order on that row is: 1) Tai's 2) Ali's 3) Fame's

Best pizza in town! I definitely make it a habit to walk over here during my lunch break to get the Spicy Ranch Chicken and White Spinach pizza for my coworkers. I've tried different joints around the city, but nothing like this place! I definitely recommend.

So the pizza here isn't bad. Spicy ranch chicken is probably their best pizza, but I've had their mushroom and others a few times too. I mean, how hard is it to screw up street pizza? The two stars isn't for the food, it's for the cashier guy who takes the orders. He is REALLY irritating and makes me very uncomfortable. 1. I had zero cash and only my debit card, which had less than $5 (so I couldn't use the ATM), was terribly dehydrated, and I was almost late for class. So I stopped by Fames, one of the only places in front of my class that accepts card, and asked for a bottle of water. The guy gave me a lecture on how I could save money by using cash in front of all the other customers. Not that I care what the other customers thought, but I thought it was rude of the cashier to call me out and nose into my financial situation. Obviously I am not trying to spend more money than necessary, but I don't need to be lectured on buying water from the person I am buying my water from. I'm not an idiot. 2. He always repeats the same jokes. He literally repeats the same jokes. I order, he cracks a joke, I step away, next person orders, SAME joke. Way to be original and genuine, huh? And the jokes are not funny; some of them are borderline creepy. For instance: Me (or any other customer for that matter): Could I also get a drink? Him: Yeah, I'll buy you a rum and coke [insert horribly executed wink/smirk] Me: Yeah, just a coke. Him: You sure? I'll take you out for a drink. Me: [Fake laugh because I don't know how else to react] Haha, no just a coke. [Also very annoyed at this point because the amount of street harassment I have to put with in the Temple area is ridiculous, but that's another matter.] Another example, not creepy, but still equally irritating: Me (again, or any other customer): Could I please get a paper bag for the pizza? Him: It's $5.00. Me: Really? Him: Yeah. Me: Uh.. Him: Gotcha, here you go. Another: Me (any other customer): Can I get a slice of [whatever topping] pizza? Him: $40.00 Me: Seriously, the real price please. 3. This one time, I used my card at Fame's pizza for a few slices of spicy ranch chicken. He swiped my card, and it didn't go through for some reason. He swiped it again. Obviously, I became somewhat nervous. I asked if the first swipe didn't work, and if I'd be charged twice. He reassured me it was fine. I check my bank statement two days later, and find that I've been charged twice. Hm. I guess it's not really a huge deal, especially since I was able to dispute the second charge, but I was already sketched out with his creepy jokes. I am sorry if I come off sounding like I have something stuck up my butt, but I just want to get my food without being lectured, without hearing the same repetitive jokes, without having my leg pulled, without being kind of hit on, and without being charged twice. Is that too much to ask for? IN SHORT: I come back and deal with this ish because I love their spicy ranch chicken pizza and because they are one of the few places at the Anderson wall that accepts card. The wait isn't that bad either. Food is decent. Service is gross.

By far my favorite pizza on campus and most likely anywhere. The buffalo chicken pizza would be on my last meal list. Whatever the sauce they use on there is so delicious and impossible to replicate (I've tried). Do yourself a favor and try it, you won't regret it Also, if you are complaining because the man wasn't nice to you, get out of Philly because you don't belong. Thanks.

I love this pizza place every since I found it during high school ive loved fame's pizza its thin crust brick oven and the sauce is great out of this world tasting to me most pizza is doughy greasy or sauce is too sweet that is not the case with this pizza place the pizza and the food period is great this place is the only place I like pizza from only 1 problem with fame's I wish they delivered but other than that this is the only pizza place for me I would wait for hours if need be just for a slice of fame's pizza
