I came here at roughly 6:30pm on a Wednesday, and it was pretty crowded and lively! I have never been to a Haraz location so I was pretty excited, and I got the rose scone and the iced Haraz latte. The ambiance is amazing - this is a perfect place to relax or socialize with your friends. The atmosphere is so warm and the staff is very kind. I will be returning & I love that there's a space that is open late for people to hang out at that's not a bar!

The Haraz Coffee House in Fishtown recently opened up and I figured I should finally leave the house and check it out. There were a lot of people working remotely and studying which was nice to see because I came to do that exact same thing. There's plenty of seating and the aesthetics of the coffee house is very cute! I got a matcha frap (not pictured) and I did not enjoy it. I asked the staff for a recommendation and they suggested the strawberry matcha and it was an excellent 2nd drink! I also got chicken patty which tasted delicious but it was small for the price. The owner came around later in the afternoon and gave our samples of tahini chocolates which I was skeptical about at first but it was actually quite delicious!

I attended the grand opening. The flyer and signs advertised free drinks It only included samples of coffee and chai outside. This is fine except the flyer and signs made it sound like an actual free drink. Several other customers I talked to felt the same. I tried the chai It had an interesting flavor from the spices. It also had cream instead of milk so the texture was creamier than other chais I've had. It was strong with an almost coffee like bitterness. The brown butter chocolate chip cookie and snickerdoodle samples were tasty, I purchased a cardamom and rose scone. It was delicious. The scone had a candy, fluffy texture with lots of cardamon flavor. The glaze took it to another level! The staff was nice but a little confused. A sign offered 15% discount on all purchases but I didn't receive a discount. The cashier didn't know anything about it even though the sign was on the counter. She called over someone to help but they couldn't figure out how to give discount. In the confusion, I didn't get my change of almost $1 either. I didn't realize until I sat down. With all the confusion it wasn't worth asking-. The space is beautiful with large windows, lots of tables and a Middle Eastern vibe. It would be a nice place to meet up with friends.

I didn't have that great service when I visited, so I'm only rating 4 out of 5 stars. I'm hoping it's just because the place opened up and that it'll get better with time. I got the Mufawar Coffee, Cardamom Scone, and I forgot the name of it but it was like an Everything Bagel Bun. It was a milk bun with everything seasoning, cream cheese in the middle, and pickled onions and capers on top. I didn't get my pastries warmed up, but that didn't matter because they were tender and flavorful without the heat. I appreciated the spices in the Mufawar coffee, but I'd recommend getting it with a little bit of sugar. I came early on a Sunday morning and it was a little busy but many empty seats were still available. I got a beeper when I ordered and brought it back when it started vibrating. When I got my bun, I was told the coffee and scone would be coming soon. The issue was that it took over 30 minutes and some badgering to get all my food. I asked twice before someone took the bun out of the pastry cabinet and gave it to me. Later, a staff member went around asking guests if they got everything, so I think maybe something happened. Other than that, the place is clean, organized, and pretty to look at. The staff is nice and I think they're doing their best.

What an amazing space! The adeni chai teapot was the largest size they have and could comfortably serve 6. I really enjoyed the raspberry pistachio tart (although pricey) as it wasn't too sweet and the tart itself had such a nice texture. Definitely a great spot to do work or meet with a group

Finding parking here is a task but other than that WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE! Service was amazing, the coffee was unlike anything I've ever had I'd recommend this place for coffee connoisseurs only because it has a distinct taste and the pastries!? Amazing ! Highly recommend the pistachio iced latte I ordered one there and to go,the only problem i had was on the menu, there's no description for the drinks that would be very helpful.

I've been wanting to get to this coffee shop for a while and so happy they finally brought it to Fishtown! It's amazing! Great drinks, lots of variety, AMAZING pastries, and very kind staff. It's clean, huge, and a great place to work or just hang for a bit!

Had the turkish coffee and a potato zatar. The coffee was rich and delicate with a big cardamom flavor. I met one of the owners named Aisha who was gracious and welcoming. The coffee is a chain but this location is doing a special local bakery. A nice change from the regular coffee shop!

This place is big, gorgeous, and bright--my photos don't do it justice. It's only been open a week (owned by a warm and friendly family who has been living in Fishtown for 10 years) so they are still getting themselves adorably sorted, but wow. The cheesecake is what I experienced as a child as a classic New York cheesecake--firm, crumbly, creamy, delicious--not the soft kind that is more common these days. The coffee was good and there are lots of other delicious-looking pastries baked by a Cordon-Bleu-trained chef who is a member of the family. I'd encourage more savory foods, too, so I have an excuse to come here for lunch! It's a little pricey but so worth it. It's also right near the Girard subway stop so it's accessible from many parts of the city. Definitely an asset. Oh--another asset--it's open until 10pm! Maybe they'll start a trend!
