Homewood Suites by Hilton Philadelphia-City Avenue is an extended stay hotel located in Philadelphia, PA. Accidentally came here instead of the other Hilton and they refused to let me use the indoor pathway to cross hotels in a snowstorm. They lied and said there's no way to do it. I had a giant suitcase in hand and they didn't care. Meanwhile the employees at the other Hilton guided me through the hallway on the second floor to get to the Homewood when a delivery driver left the food there. He had no problems doing so.

We (my kiddos and I) had a nice, easy one night stay here. Easy booking and check-in online. Parking is available on Stout for free or you can pay $25/24 hours to park in a large lot across the street. Breakfast is included and has a robust offering. The King suite also has a pull out sofa. There is free WiFi , a gym, and an indoor pool. There are amenities for a longer stay-fridge, dishwasher, stove. In room coffee available too. The bathroom was clean with great water pressure. The bed was quite comfortable too. Staff we interacted with were very friendly. This hotel is right around the corner from a nice Target if you forget anything!

This place was so elegant that I felt like the queen of England when I walked into the place and wondered if I even belonged there! lol Top shelf world class all the way! Great security!

Well..I want to say that I had the privilege to stay at the Homewood Suites for an extended stay due to a power outage in my residence! My homeowners booked this hotel and it worked out pretty good! The room was in the corner and was quiet most of my 3 week stay (there was only one incident of a party at 2am one weekend)! I was pleased with the frequency of the cleaning schedule and the staff were responsive if I had any issues or concerns during my stay! I didn't participate in the continental breakfasts (only tea in the AM) so no feedback in that area! The only down side is the distance of the parking lot to the hotel! It's a short walk..but it's uphill...you get me! Lol Overall, I would recommend the Homewood Suites if you needed a hotel with good location to the highways that will connect you to all parts of the city!

Our entire stay here the coffee was lukewarm. The staff is just GHETTO and very unprofessional. We requested more towels and never received any. I can't even believe it.

I've stayed at hundreds of Hilton brand hotels throughout the world and I can honestly say this one takes the cake as being the worst. I've always been loyal to the brand and as a lifetime diamond member I usually get at least decent service, but this location is just awful. There's no way around it. The rooms are ok, the staff is friendly but inept, the parking is rough, and don't expect your room to be serviced during your stay. 6 days straight and still no housekeeping. It's not isolated to just me. My coworkers have experienced the same issue, as well as countless other reviewers. It seems this hotel is struggling with maintenance, upkeep, and housekeeping issues. My recommendation is to avoid this hotel and stay elsewhere.

Broken AC, very hot room, when we called to get it fixed they attempted repair that never worked. Parking lot entry and exit are an absolute mess. Passes don't work and there was always a backlog to try to get out of the lot. Suite was dirty, didn't seem like the room was turned over. Floors didn't look vacuumed and kitchen had old and crusty food in the cupboards and crumbs on the counters. Front desk associates were friendly but it was unclear if anything we asked about were being attended to. Very disappointed in this hotel and will never book a Homewood Suites again.

We liked the room a lot and coming with a family, our kitchenette was perfect. Kiddos slept on the pullout couch and the king size bed was super comfortable. It seemed like they were understaffed but I still felt the concierge values the guests and gave attention to their needs. Not a bad continental breakfast either. Toni was a super helpful concierge!

Worst hotel ever. Don't stay here. It was dirty smelled in the hallway. No ice machine worked. The breakfast was a mess,food all over the place and nobody picked it up. Spilled juice on the floor that they just left there and put a wet floor sign over it. Elevator was dirty and couch in lobby smelled like pee. Room was ok appeared clean but worried because everything else was a mess. Beds very uncomfortable.

We had a reservation. In fact we used to stay here every week. The sole check-in-clerk decided she did not like us. She did not like us because we asked, after waiting 20 minutes to check-in, if she could talk to her good friend after we had our room key. (We are not worth disliking two boring senior citizens from out of town.) Long and short, she denied our reservation, because she had the power to do so. Newly arrived in Philadelphia and we were out on the street. We tried and tried to speak to the hotel manager but we, it would seem, were not worth his time. The clerk has clearly been ceded the power to treat guests as it suits her. Is it worth the risk that she might not like YOU? For very little extra money you can stay at the Study which is close by.
