June's, now called J Breakfast, is a local neighborhood staple. Classic diner vibes and offerings. Everything you want for a home cooked breakfast or brunch meal without having to cook yourself. Been going here for years and always leave satisfied. They prefer cash but take cards. The waitress that takes the order over the phone is always nice. Just make sure you double check your bag before leaving, to ensure you have the right order on the weekends. It can get a little chaotic sometimes.

Hey, Yelp family! Question: Have you ever just wanted a plain ole breakfast sandwich without any of the frills? I just wanted something slightly greasy wrapped in random amounts of aluminum foil stuffed into a paper bag. Junes Breakfast answered the call. The big problem was all the prices on the menu were blocked with permanent marker and I don't like feeling as if prices are made up at whim. The sandwich was cooked in a good amount of time and tasted solid. There wasn't as much meat and eggs on the bagel considering the $7 price. The sausage, eggs, and cheese on a bagel did the job, but I wouldn't find myself back there anytime soon again. Maybe if I needed some random aluminum foil.

Absolutely the worst gish n grits breakfast ever! Grits were hard with butter no salt and pepper . Swai fish taste and looked like dollars store fish no seasoning. Wheat toast was soft like they pulled it out the toaster before it was toasted. The second platter was just as bad Scrambled eggs were vooked so hard you could cut them with a knife. No salt or pepper. The bacon was mostly fat probably dollar store too. Yhe pancakes were so light, the even dmelled undercooked. Please go elsewhere if you want edible food. Yhis was overpriced at $30 for two platters with no drinks. Never again

I got breakfast here a few weeks ago, and it was fine. Last time I walked in and people kept going in front of me to order, as if I didn't exist, so I left. Today I tried to save time and headache by ordering over the phone, but this turned out to be a mistake. I ordered two eggs with cheese, a side of grits, and a hot chocolate. The meal also comes with toast. I get there, give my order number, and am told that it comes to a total of $9.25. I'm a bit confused, but pay, and am given the bag of food. I say I also ordered a hot chocolate. The woman laughs, and says there's no hot chocolate on the receipt. I said the price doesn't make sense then. She just looks at me like I'm incorrect. I said I gave up and left, since there is no system here when you walk in - just people waiting in a big clump, so you feel extra awkward and have no time to assert yourself. The price of this meal is usually about half as much as they charged today. I opened the container when I got home and of course, there was some kind of hot dog thing that I definitely didn't order as I don't eat meat. Even then, the meal would not be that expensive. The eggs and cheese were fine, which is why I went back here in the first place. The grits were gluey. The toast was pretty much just cold, stale bread. Somehow for $9.25. I'm so angry and will never, ever bother going here again.

My fiancé and I were craving traditional diner breakfast after I participated in Philly Run Fest's 10K! What better place than June's Breakfast (which I believe says "J's Breakfast" on the exterior of the building). He ordered the french toast platter and couldn't stop raving about it, and I had the turkey bacon omelette with home fries... it was so delicious! Our server, Christine, was very sweet and the food came quick. I am looking forward to coming back.

Doesn't look like much when you walk past, however it's filled with great food and even better customer service. I got something simple and quick. It was pretty good. If you get the grits to go, make sure you ask for salt and pepper because it comes with nothing but butter on top. Which was pretty bland of course. Other than that, I can't complain. Check this place out and see for yourself

This is my go to breakfast spot in my neighborhood. June's has whatever your taste desires with fish, beef, pork and chicken options. CASH ONLY. Call ahead for fast pick up. They will get busy. Plenty of sit down space at counter or table. The menu pictured on Yelp doesn't have it all. Call and see if they got it. Today I learned they have Fish n Grits platter with toast. Huge portion of white fish, perfectly fried. (Sorry I was tooo hungry to pic it first) deeeelish! BLTs, BECs with multiple bread options (white/wheat/potato). Strong good coffee and pleasant servers. Legit my go to for breakfast. Never lets me down
