Maki of Japan still serves solid food at reasonable prices. Nothing is spectacular, but it's clean, fairly healthy food, including vegetables. If I must eat at the airport, Maki of Japan is my go-to spot for food. (Outside of the airport, this would probably be only 2 stars or so. Inside the airport, this is one of the best choices if you need a meal. I've been relieved and happy that Maki is there when I need them.) Good, fast service.

The Japanese food is added as an after thought as everything on display in the buffet window is Panda Express style Chinese food. That's ok, but why call it Maki of Tokyo? Anyway, I dare not order the sushi or noodles and stuck with what I could see. The food was over-salted, the service a little lacking, but compared to the other choices I still stuck with this place. If you are looking for something like a real meal, and not pizza, burgers or poorly made pasta that is offered next door then your sense will lead you back to this restaurant.

The Service: Super fast! Multi tasking. Line moves pretty fast! If you are running out of time, this is perfect to grab and go. The Food: Very affordable! Prepared fresh daily. Hot food! It's like Panda Express. But not too many choices.

I always make sure I stop by Maki to grab food for my flights.. Given this is no five star restaurant, I don't expect them to provide me superior service. I understand this is at food court location @ the airport and they have to move quite fast.. So I'm fine with that. I'm not one of those customers that just stands in line, and stare at the menu board when the line should be moving along... I absolutely love their spicy tuna and salmon roll. The fish is fresh. Rice and fish is well proportion. They give extra soy sauce packets if you need (yes, i love my soy sauce). I wish they had the lil containers to hold my sauce though.

I've been to enough airports to know that I don't expect much in terms of good quality or taste. However, going here proved more so that I couldn't be any more disappointed. The staff seemed to be rushing us in choosing as if we were taking their time. Mind you, there was no one behind us waiting in line. Portions are small. Even though it's in your standard to-go box they really skimp on food. To say this is a Panda Express type of place would be insulting to Panda. At least Panda has taste to their food even though it may be Asian style fast food court type of food. Everything here was bland. So bland that I seriously considered adding salt just to add taste. Food was sitting around old. The broccoli in my dish was already turning brownish green to show it was sitting there for awhile. I basically knock this place down on both bad tasting food and poor quality service. Even if you're staving of hungry and just want something to eat, go somewhere else. For a place that markets itself of Japan, it's more so a Chinese food joint. The only positive I would say is that the hot and sour soup was at a good price of $1.50

Decently priced American-Chinese fast food. The line moves quickly and the quantity and quality of food is good. No complaints and lives up to what I was expecting.

This is just sub-average, food court style, cheap quality Asian food. There is no "Japan" influence here. It's your standard Chinese take out rice, noodles, and 3-4 types of chicken or beef. The rice I got was very dry and poorly seasoned/flavored. The bourbon chicken was just acceptable. The pepper steak was chewy and flavorless. But the worst offender of the bunch? The soy sauce. This packaged black sludge was not qualified to be called "soy". It had absolutely no taste, lacked any distinguishable flavor as good soy should, and instead of being brown in color and pour in an even, thin style, it was thick, solid black, and left the rice even more dry, and stained in black instead of coated in a bath of warm brown soy, as it should be. To top it all off, it was $9 for 2 sides and a pile of rice. Gross. I will not come back to Maki if in PHL airport again.

The food here is relatively affordable for the airport, and it tastes good enough as well. The other option nearby was Chickie and Pete's, and I wasn't all about the salt, so we decided to buy from this place and another place across the way. This proved to have the tastier food. It's basically the typical Asian food court fast food, including bourbon chicken, which is one of my favorites. Portions aren't that big, but overall, not too bad for the price!

One of the best choices in the food court, but still food court quality. They are the only Asian place in the food court that makes your food to order. All other Asian food places have the food under a heat lamp and is pretty mediocre. The price is about average for shitty Asian food but the portions are big like usual. They have a cool grill and awesome outfits while making your food so that's a bonus, however you will have to wait a little for your food. I got chicken teriyaki with grilled veggies over fried rice. It took about 5 minutes which was irksome but at least it was hot and fresh.

Not bad for airport food. I was looking for something other than pizza or McDonalds and I stumbled across this place. The rice was a little on the dry side but the tofu was delicious.
