Service was great, employees are nice and food was brought out to the table. For $8, the meal was decent and filling enough. Indoors reminds me of a corner store/deli feel with seating. Very casual.

I visited Munchie's Cafe with a few co-workers to get some lunch. Munchie's is nothing out of the ordinary, but is a lunch spot where you order at a counter. They have dozens of options at Munchie's that are available for order - they are listed on the overhead menus. Once you order, you get a slip and pay at the front. Towards the front they have a number of cookies and candies at the checkout and a TV, too. When checking out, it took a little while to get my food, but after a little bit of a wait, it came out. I got the portobello mushroom panini, which was a pressed sandwich of portobello mushrooms mozzarella and pesto. There is not a ton of seating inside Munchie's. Therefore, we ate the sandwiches in Independence Square Park and the sandwich was nicely wrapped and still warm by then. Altogether, Munchie's Cafe is nothing spectacular, but it is a decent lunch spot in Philadelphia.

Just ordered an Italian hogie to go and walked back to work. Hogie was $10.75 which is on the high side and this thing is woefully lacking ingredients. I also ordered onions which are missing. Was there a lettuce shortage? What gives. Won't be back anytime soon.

They are quick, the food was as ordered and excellent. I had a California sandwich - actually twice on the same day because the first one was good, along with some juice. I'd recommend them. They were friendly and courteous. They are right around the corner from the passport agency, in case you are waiting for a passport.

Stopped by here for a quick meal. Got a crispy chicken caesar wrap, super yummy. We also got a smoothie, very refreshing. The service was quick and attentive. Cute place!

Food is so mid. I've tried breakfast and lunch here. They skimp on everything. I got a veggie omelette and the egg was so thin it was see through. They definitely only use ONE egg to make an omelette which is ridiculous. Everything seems like you're getting less than what you're supposed to get. I only go here because it's literally nothing else to eat around here and I'm at work. Sandwiches taste like bread lettuce tomato no meat because they skimp on everything.

I ordered 3 cheesesteaks on Sept. 5. Tasted horrible. Gristle and bone pieces in all of the sandwiches. Each of us ate only half. I spoke with the manager the next day who apologized and said he would notify the company where the meat is purchased. He offered no compensation and said I should have called the same day. This was a $52 order (including fries, onion rings and drink). Needless to say Munchies's is no longer an option for any meal.

This place has been wonderful throughout my years working nearby and especially when I had gone through childbirth and needed some good comfort food. I was delivering my baby at Penn and after that I was so over the hospital food even though it's just for energy and all. For breakfast, we got the egg and bacon sandwich on a croissant, breakfast platter, and hot coffee (la Colombe!). The sandwich was super tasty and comforting! The platter had fluffy eggs, sausage, and hella good potatoes. They pack ketchup and hot sauce for you and any other condiments you need. Calling ahead of time for your order is a good idea. They are so clutch. I cannot wait to go back to work and come back For lunch. They have great smoothies and hoagie sandwiches!

I stopped here for a quick breakfast bite. The place has a nice menu, and is very clean. It is similar to a convienience store where they have chips, cookies, and a freezer full of assorted ice cold drinks. I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese bagel. It did not take me long to get my food. It was huge and tasty. My only complaint was that there was not a lot of bacon on the sandwich. The staff there was very friendly and efficient. They also have a lunch menu that I hear is good. I may hav to check that out as well. Definitely a pace to check out if you do not have a lot of time to eat.
