Hey friends! My boyfriend and I wanted something interactive to do on our trip so we landed here thanks to a Yelp search. While this location is smaller compared to others, there's still much to do and see. From trendy photo-ops to mind boggling puzzles, there's plenty of things to peak your interest. And we actually ended up spending two hours here LOL. We went on a weekday while it was slower than usual,so we got to enjoy the different exhibits peacefully. Our favorites were the puzzle section and the tunnel. There's definitely fun for all ages here. Staff is very friendly. We were greeted warmly at the front desk and one employee helped us out with a puzzle we were stuck on. Parking: street parking, limited, paid. Establishment was clean. Hi, I wanted to share my frustration about a recent visit to the Museum of Illusions. I emailed customer service before coming and was told we'd have until 10 PM to explore. Based on that, my friends and I (who all paid full price in advance) arrived at 8:40 PM. When we got there, the staff told us we only had 40 minutes inside. We explained what we were told, but the employees were rude and dismissive. It felt like they couldn't be bothered to help or even acknowledge the confusion. The whole experience felt rushed and unwelcoming. I also had more friends planning to join us and buy tickets at the door, but after hearing how little time we had left and seeing how we were treated, they decided not to spend their money. So not only did we not get the experience we were expecting, but your team also lost out on additional paying customers because of how the situation was handled. Museum of Illusions is such a fun time! I saw online it is free for teachers so I grabbed my teacher friend and we went together. So many cool things there. It was a little crowded and it was annoying that people kept walking in when we were doing some of the experiences. But it was still a lot of fun. I think it took about 45 min to walk thru and hit all the rooms and exhibits.

This place is so much fun!! The illusions are great and the people who work there are really helpful and attentive. They took pictures for us and explained the exhibits. I only wish it was bigger. I hope they add more exhibits soon!!

It's a teeny tiny museum in Old City, and they certainly seemed to have oversold it the day of my visit. Maybe don't go on a weekend if you want to have time with the handful of illusions without dozens of other folks around. I didn't feel like the illusions were that spectacular overall either. There were a few cute photo opps but certainly not worth the exorbitant admission price. It should be at least half of the cost. Even worse, someone threw up all over the women's restroom, in multiple locations, and didn't alert the staff, so I had to let them know while also trying not to gag myself. All in all, we were in and out in 20 minutes, and it's safe to say this was a one-and-done experience for me.

I cannot express how amazing Jim was as our tour guide during the museum. He gave us all the ins and outs of how to take our picture. He made sure we didn't miss any photo ops and had the best experience! He was super down to earth and was so sweet. I'm from Texas and was in town for a conference and this hidden gem. Teachers are free!

It's a small museum and the brand has been popping up around big cities. I recently visited the one in Orlando, but my future mother-in-law bought tickets for us all to go and check this one out. Compared to Orlando, a lot of the photo opportunities are the same, but the Philly location has quite a bit more to offer which was a nice surprise. There's a section for puzzles that you can work on which I could spend all day in. There's a ladder for the reflection mirror so you can have two people participate. A lot of fun illusions that you can goof around with and have a good time. I wouldn't say it's a great value, but if you like those cheesy pop up style museums, I'd say it's worth checking out once.

This is a very small museum it's only one floor and coming on a Saturday night it was quite crowded at 5pm. I believe that is the only thing I didnt like about it because I have been to other museum of illusion and they are quite bigger. The staff were very nice and attentive tho even tho there were lots of people they made sure to help you take pictures even when we didn't ask they approached us to volunteer. There were lots of photo op spots. My two kids (6 and 8 years old) had lots of fun tho!

We came here to visit after seeing ads on Facebook. This is a very small museum - only one floor. If it's busy, I can't imagine that it would be any fun at all. We went during the weekday so there was almost no one there. There are lots of pictures to look at to see the illusion. We had to read the signs next to the interactive exhibits to figure out what to do, some we couldn't figure out at all and despite there being staff to help, there was no help offered. I asked one person that worked there what to do for one of them and she helped but wasn't too enthusiastic. We felt like we were annoying her by asking her to do her job. Heaven forbid. We also discovered that some of the illusions required three people - two to do the illusion, one to take the picture so you could see the illusion. Since it was just two of us and no help, impossible. Some of the illusions weren't as good as the picture beside it. We were in and out in about twenty minutes. At 28 bucks this is more than 1 dollar a minute.
