My friend and I walked here from center city to check it out and it was worth it! The workers were friendly and gave us free sodas when we paid with cash! The chicken was juicy, the sauce was one of the tastiest we've had in their area! I think this place also gives the most chicken for the price! Only thing is there's not too much veggies... which some people love and prefer!! Would definitely go regularly if this was closer!

This halal cart singlehanded feeds my boyfriend and I at least 3 times a week. The food is exceptionally tasty and well-priced and great portions, which is perfect for someone on a budget or a student. We typically eat the platters (meat/falafel over rice with salad) for 2 meals. As a pescatarian, I am a big fan of the fish shrimp over rice. The rice and salad amounts are customizable and you can add red (hot) or white (creamy) sauce to the platters as toppings. The hot sauce is not too spicy but I typically prefer my food with just the white sauce. Mo is an amazing person and is by-far the quickest halal cart at making the food and nicest person to chat with. The drinks are $1 extra to the total. There are numerous fruity sodas along with the regular Pepsi, ginger ale, etc. drinks. Of note is prices have stayed low for years despite inflation. When other trucks have $10+ platters, this cart has both a lower price and better flavor and portion size, in my opinion. I definitely would recommend trying this cart when in the area!

This man singlehandedly carried my lunch options while I was at Upenn for a rotation. Highly suggest the combo lamb/chicken over rice. Ask if you can substitute the salad for more rice like a carb loving glutton. All very good. I always got extra hot sauce cause what is life without flavor? Highly suggest checking out this cart and they take card which is even more surprising.

Wow. This food truck is a hidden gem! So so good and I loved how quick and easy ordering was. They mainly take venmo, but card is ok for a small fee. My portion size was huge: I got the chicken rice for only $7!!! definitely would recommend!

If the reviews on the food truck don't entice you enough already just look at these pictures. Hands down my favorite halal food truck to ever exist. This truck byfar surpasses any halal food truck I've had in New York, for the price,quantity, and quality. If you come here I suggest getting the chicken over rice! I'm not kidding this meal is something I would dream about and come back to Philly for.

Maybe this is irrational to say but the UCity food trucks were one of three things that kept me sane during my undergraduate career and to them I owe the world, much less a 5 star Yelp review. Yes, this was my first time at this particular truck and no, it wasn't distinct from any of the other halal trucks I've frequented, but hey. Cheap, quick, tasty, could probably last two meals but I was feeling woozy so I ate it all at once = all a girl can ask for. Thank you, I love you, and good night.

The chicken over rice might be one of my favorite meals. This truck was outside my hotel and I'm so glad I gave it a try! I will be coming back the next time I am in town.

Not uncommon to see a line an I know why! Ate the combo plate with a falafel twice! Oh an get the delicious white sauce! Super amazing! More than reasonable for the amount of food they give you! I recommend you try it!

The best halal food truck in University City. The halal mix veggie and falafel over rice are just out of this world. Perfect flavor. Sauces are good. Sometimes the red can be a little too intense for me, but the white sauce is perfect. Always friendly service with a smile. Obviously, a great price point for all of the food that you receive. Highly recommend this place!
