I went to NOTO Philadelphia with a group of friends for an anime rave, and while we had a good time dancing and enjoying the atmosphere, there were a few things that stood out. The most noticeable was the VIP section--it was practically empty all night. Before the event, we asked about getting a table just so we'd have a place to sit once we got tired from dancing. We weren't planning to drink heavily, just wanted a spot to rest. We were told it would be $400, which felt incredibly steep. Clearly, most of the crowd wasn't willing (or able) to pay that kind of money either, based on how vacant VIP was. I really think the club needs to reconsider their pricing, especially for themed events that draw a younger or more casual crowd. That said, entry was smooth--we showed our tickets and got right in with no hassle. There wasn't a long line, and things seemed to be run efficiently at the door. Overall, we had fun, but a few adjustments could make the experience more accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

Came to NOTO for Bingo Loco; the event itself was fun though there wasn't enough seating for the amount of people there. I had to ask several tables if I could sit with them until I was finally able to find a corner. The only reason I'm even giving it a star is because the event itself was entertaining. While sitting in said corner, I was in the way of the booths on the second floor so people kept bumping into me accidentally. However, one of the employees purposely touched me twice when passing by. The first time was a tap on the shoulder and the second time he bumped his hip on me and then turned around and laughed.

While this place is a little overpriced I had a great experience seeing Diplo there. I stood on the second floor, got to see him and had plenty of space to move around and dance. I didn't get a drink or interact with any workers, but did have a bouncer shove me because I was "too close" to the "VIP area"...I'd only go back to see an artist not a regular routine

Went to NOTO last night and the steps were super dangerous. Stairs were wet and slippery with no signs present warning that they were in this condition. I slipped down about 7 steps and was left with bruises on my legs.

I usually do not do this, but this was one of the worst experiences I've had at a venue. The 2.5/10 rating is very well deserved. 1) after paying for a ticket to the event ahead of time to see the show, my friends and I arrived to see that there was ONE line for entry including people who had bought tickets ahead of time and people who were buying them at the door. People in the middle of the line said they had been waiting 45 minutes indicating it would take an hour and a half from the back of the line, therefore missing the show. 2) approaching security they offered to let us in if we paid them a separate fee ($35 each) to a CashApp account that was not the bouncers. They then charged a group with the same amount of people as my group much less ($12 each) for this, without rationale of why. 3) once we got in it appeared there was one line to the bathroom for guys and girls. After seeing a group of 5 girls go into the LARGE bathrooms at once me and my friend tried to do the same but were denied. When asking why a group of 5 girls could go but not 2 guys the bouncer said "because guys can have gay sex in there." While this felt homophobic, the bouncer explained "he has a gay cousin" so it seems it was an okay policy for the establishment to have. 5) when we went to get a drink we asked for a double to which the bartender said "that's about $40" but that if we gave him $30 he could figure out something special for us, which was an odd experience to have--bartering for drinks... 6) the overall crowd and vibe of the venue was not one I would recommend to anyone, no matter who is playing. If it's someone you really want to see wait till they play somewhere else because this club is not the vibe.

Went to see Meek Mill perform. He didn't show up until 1am. The club closes at 2am. Everyone was there at 10/11pm. I am confused on why we didn't get a notification or an announcement saying that meek was going to be late. I get he's a celebrity but not even the workers know when he will arrive. The place was nice though. NOTO is pretty festive when it comes to holidays and they do a great job advertising it. I never had the food here but the drinks are made fast without an issue and the bartenders are very kind.

If there were a zero star, I'd file it, I live right next to noto and I told the security man I lost something and he wouldn't let me in... nothing I could do except run home, this place is just good for DJs nothing else

I had a large corner table here for my buddy's birthday back in 2018. This was when Noto, which opened in 2017, was relatively new and it was definitely the place to go in Philly. We had a great night. Everything was seamless except going to the restroom. The playbill promised an appearance by Fatboy SSE also known as Mr. Big Stuff, and he failed to appear.

I really did not enjoy this venue compared to others I've been in Philadelphia. We spent a decent chunk of money to then not be able to find a spot since they definitely oversell. We were kind of crammed by the back towards the bar and couldn't even see most of the performance. The nightclub aspect of it made it so that bottle service tables take up 70% of the space and the rest of us in general admission get to squeeze into a strip 20 feet or so wide. The security for the bottle service also gives you rude looks if you so much as get pushed out into the bottle service area by an inch and while I get that it's their job and they're dealing with all these drunks it's not a pleasant time. If the artist I'd been there for had played at another venue in Philly I definitely wouldn't have bothered coming here.
