$13.68 for a Chicken Salad Hoagie, chips, candy and an apple juice. You can't beat that for lunch. Figured I'd try this spot out for lunch instead of the usual student filled spots and I'm so happy I did. For starters I've never seen so many specials running at once all around a store. It's also so much things crammed in this store that I could've spent 45-minutes alone to browse, but I LOVE IT. This place is like a corner store mixed with grocery store! The sandwich was good, service was fast, you can eat inside or outside and I agree with the review... this spot is like the old school WaWa.

These guys sell EVERYTHING!! You need yeast? They sell it. You need zero-sugar drinks? They sell them. Awesome sandwiches made to order, salads, coffee, nail polish remover, oil for your car, cheap wine, good wine, or five kinds of Reese's? Guys, they HAVE THEM, and for less than you'd pay at grocery store. (As a bonus, they are really nice.)

This is the kind of place where you order an Italian hoagie every day for two weeks because they're so good that you can't think of a superior lunch items because they don't exist. Or maybe that's just me. Things I like about Old Nelson: 1. They remind me of what Wawa sandwiches used to be like 2. They sell LaCroix 12 packs for 5 bucks 3. They have lots of snacks and other things that are worth picking up The non-stop dance music blasting during the lunch hour, though strange, also helps. Never change, Old Nelson. Never change.

I work one block from this old Nelson location and I absolutely love coming here for breakfast and lunch! They have epic sandwiches, always with freshly sliced meats. Their smoothies are pricey, but worth it. They also have tons of single serving medications (Tylenol, DayQuil, etc) for a $1 if you are feeling sick. Highly recommend the Greek salad, minestrone soup and the breakfast sandwiches!

I'm very picky when it come to sandwich. N i've here so many times, n they never failed me. The place is always looking clean and the staff are really nice n the best part is they always serve great n fresh sandwich. Would Definitely recommend to anyone looking for quick bite.

A great selection of sandwiches and salads along with a mini grocery store. I was staying right by this Old Nelson location and found it really convenient to buy everything from bread, snacks, to even trash bags that I had forgotten to buy with my regular groceries. Looking forward to coming back and trying out their large selection of sandwiches and salads!

This is my favorite Old Nelson at University City! The employees are always so welcoming and nice. They also have a variety of snacks and foods that Wawa does not have. I would highly recommend their hot foods and smoothies! Definitely check this place out if you're in the area.

I'm never going here again. The older looking Asian lady is rude and only monitors certain customers if you know what I mean. She's rude ignorant and beware she will nickel you down for a extra salt and pepper she truly a piece of work and I won't be returning to this establishment
