This was probably the best cheesesteak we ate while in Philly! Get it with onions and provolone cheese. Yum!

I thought the chicken steaks were ok Not enough cheese. A decent amount of meat They were pretty busy but pushed through orders quickly. Not like any of the good places in the city, but for the airport, not bad. Expensive as with most airport food

I purposefully went through PHL to A) change it up and B) seek a local cheesesteak during my layover. I've tried airport Genos with little culinary impact (although I'd argue the brick and mortar doesn't churn out the best sandwiches either). I saw I'd be walking by Passyunk's on my way to the next gate, so I gave it a try. Order at one of two kiosks and anything you select will be given by the vendor (i.e., do not grab your beverage from the adjacent, self-service store front; they're different companies). The service was quick and easy, which is great for anyone rushing to their next flight. The resulting sandwich, however, was underwhelming. I absolutely agree and confirm what Yelper Alicia B. notes; Passyunk skimps on cheese whether you pay for extra or not. After ten years of regular travel, I know it's not impossible to find flavorful meals in an airport...but they're still rare. Often times it feels as if eateries don't try because they don't have to--you're in an enclosed environment with minimal choices and you often need sustenance. Sadly, I'd lump Passyunk's in that category. If you are interested in filling your belly, it'll do. If you're looking for a great cheesesteak, move on.

Just landed at Philadelphia International Airport and was craving a proper Philly cheesesteak. Found a spot in Terminal B and figured, come on, how bad could a cheesesteak in Philly be? Turns out... pretty bad. Compared to Famous Philly or Eddie's back in Arizona, this one doesn't even come close. The meat was dry, the cheese was barely there, and yet it was the priciest sandwich on the menu--"cheesesteak all the way." Maybe this is the best you can get at the airport, but it sure didn't hit the spot.

Not bad for an airport spot tbh. Somehow this place was ranked well above the other 2 places serving Philly Cheesesteaks, while I've not tried the others, this one was pretty tasty. Place is a simple set up with no cashier but a tablet for ordering. They unfortunately were out of sweet potato fries but the guys showed me how to file for a refund (processed in 2 days). About 10 min later I got my sandwich and it was piping hot. Good amount of meat and fillings, very tasty, only complaint would be it could've used more wiz! Anyways, no regrets here and wouldn't hesitate to grab another.

If you're deciding between this spot and the other cheesesteak place, this one is the clear winner. Their cheesesteak is absolutely loaded, packed with delicious, savory flavors, and the whiz is satisfying. The cheese fries are crispy and cheesy ... perfect with the sandwich, making it a complete meal. Plus, the combo prices are reasonable, offering great value compared to other spots at the airport.

I was working a job that was headquartered in Philly, so I had to fly here a few times a year. Well I was about to quit that job so I didn't know when I'd ever return to Philly, and I thought what better way to end this venture than to get a Philly cheesesteak. I had some time before boarding my flight so I took my hungry self to Passyunk Steaks. It was attached to a pizza place. It's more of a quick order and go type of joint, not a full on sit down restaurant. At the time they were only accepting kiosk orders. I ordered the most basic Philly cheesesteak with provolone cheese. There wasn't any interaction with the workers except the part when you pick up the order. There were no tables nearby so I took it to my gate and opened it up. It was pretty large in size qnd looked tasty. The issue is that it was as dry as the Sahara desert. I was confused if they even put cheese on it. Anyways I was hungry and despite the lack of cheese, it tasted good so I continued to eat it. But it was so dry that I had to take breaks every few minutes just to clear my throat LOL. Not sure what went wrong but it was a very underwhelming Philly cheesesteak experience in the city that's known for cheesesteaks. Note to self: Get a Philly cheesesteak anywhere but the airport!

Got the cheesesteak, a spicy chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries. Great quality and quantity of food at a reasonable price for airport food. Cheesesteak was the best. Chicken sandwich sandwiches very very spicy but good. And sweet potato fries were OK - they were sweetened and had some kind of cinnamon spice, which is not my preference, but they were well cooked.

TERRIBLE!!! I wish someone had been helpful enough to leave this review BEFORE I wasted $30 on the most flavorless cr&p I've ever tasted in my life. On top of that I asked for and paid for EXTRA CHEESE and you can see from the picture there is NONE.

By far the best cheesesteak at the airport and among the best in Philly. They use the Amorosa Bread filled with steak that's diced pretty fine on the grill and seasoned with seasoned salt. Get it all the way and you get mushrooms, onions and peppers. I prefer mine with provolone but the whiz is good too. It can take anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes to get your steak depending on how many people are ordering at once. So leave time if you have a flight to catch. The fries are good as well. Crinkle cut with seasoned salt. I get one every time I fly out of Philly. That can be once every few months or twice a week. If I'm really hungry I get a slice from the pizza side while I'm waiting. The steaks and the pizza is greasy. As it should be. That's where the flavor is. As for the ambiance. It's airport carry out only. And you order from a large touchscreen. If you hit entrees you get a sandwich fries and a small drink. The best deal if you're looking for at least two of those things. Or hit sandwiches if you're just looking for the sandwiche a la carte.
