PAZZO PIZZA: 132 S 20th St, Philadelphia, PA 19103 just south of Walnut. About a week or so ago was down at Helium Comedy Club and on way back to my car, passed this pizzeria. Never been there before and just bopped in & got a slice. IT WAS FANTASTIC!!! I hadn't had pizza like this since I was a kid. Growing up, there was a place in Conshy for years, Billera's (no longer there) and you could fold the crust...more pizza I have now, can't do that. Also, just the flavoring, sauce, cheese -- everything worked, taste great. So much so.;..that I went down a few nights later to get a few more slices. The funny part of this story, or not so funny...couldn't get a parking space close to it...that area not a great place...so parked at the end of the block, tow away zone sign. So left on my flashers but got to talking to the owner, a big older Egyptian man, a Coptic Christian; and with one of his customers. Kept poking my head out to see if there was a tow truck, but none. When I finally got to my car, no surprise; a parking ticket for $76!!! (very patriotic number by the way). So, all in all, was a very expensive pizza, but lesson learned... will go back again. [NOTE!!! This pizzeria must NOT be confused with "Pazzo Pazzo Pizza" (2 "pazzos" not 1"pazzo" like the one being reviewed here. LOL) at 1614 Cecil B Moore Ave 19121. "Pazzo Pazzo" is a different pizzeria.]
