The entrance from the airport is a little tricky since the sign is small and right before the parking lot entrance of the airport so be on the look out. The walls ate very thin and you can hear everything. The water pressure is a bare minimum and some of the bathrooms show wear and tear at this location as well as the downtown Philly one. Staff and bell boys are friendly and we got an extra towel super fast when requested. They have airport shuttle from 4am to 12. That took us straight to the terminal. They have a snack/Starbucks coffee shop on main floor is you need snacks etc. Convenient for direct airport transfers for early flights and car return rental (Hertz) was across the street.

This hotel is really a great representation of the Marriott Brand with their wonderful staff. Today, I had the pleasure of being cared for by Gaynell in the hotel's restaurant. She was masterfully working the bar and the restaurant with ease, and not only did she provide me with excellent customer service, but she did the same for all of her other guests. She is the true definition of world-class customer service in every aspect, and it shows. Gaynell is an absolute gem to the property and what every Marriott employee should be. I would highly recommend this property both from a convenience to the PHL airport, but also for their friendly hospitality. I have stayed here many times, and will actually be back later this week, and each stay is pretty consistent!

Was booked here on company travel because I was working in the airport. Hotel is convenient and attached the to airport by a bridge. Front desk agents are friendly, servers in the Aviation Grill also friendly. But thats as nice as it gets. Arrived in late, checked in no problem, get settled in room, climb into bed, and I can hear the people in the room above me walking around. I mean, how thin can the walls/ceiling be? Next morning I go to shower, and there's no shampoo in the shower dispenser. Im on my way to work at 4am and have no choice but to use body wash, to wash my hair. Wake up the next morning to yet again no shampoo and go to use body wash again, but now the body wash is also empty, and the conditioner too. Im barely in my room 2 days and I have zero products to shower with. I mean, come on! I get ready for work and I go to put my valuables in the safe. But wouldn't you know it, the safe doesnt work either. So I leave a note for housekeeping to replace all of the products in the shower and to please have someone come fix the room safe. I end up taking my valuables to work with me so that housekeeping can come in to clean. Products were replaced, room safe not fixed. I'm now forced to keep the "do not disturb" sign up for the duration of my trip because I cant lock up my valuables, so now my room wont get cleaned. Now to dining: First night ordered the smash burger, asked for burger sauce on the side. It came slathered with burger sauce, and extra burger sauce on the side to boot. Server took over 15 minutes to check in on me after the food was delivered, so the burger sat while I ate fries. He replaced the burger, but by the time it came, I was full from eating the fries. Burger was decent, but I ended up not eating much of it. Second day I stopped into the "bonvoy club" as I am a member. They had a mini salad bar, ice tea dispenser that didn't dispense, and an empty chafing dish with the most disgusting dirty black water in it, that I doubt it has ever been emptied or cleaned. (I arrived late and they were closing, so there was no hot food in the chafer). The next day I came a little earlier after work. Ice tea dispenser worked this time, same mini salad bar with a cheese platter, bags of chips, whole fruits and a mystery item as the entree. Some random fried triangle thing that I think was a spicy chicken chimichanga, but who knows. There are no labels or item identifiers, so I have not clue what it was. Needless to say, it was dried out, over cooked and I could not distinguish what the mystery meat inside was. Thank goodness I don't have food allergies, because who knows what was in it. I left and went to my room without eating. Second day, same set up, but this time they had some sort of pasta, with what looked pink like salmon in it and a sauce that resembled a creamy pesto. (the food area is super dark, probably by design). I was wrong, it was actually chicken in the pasta and cream sauce that had what I think was broccoli in it, that was completely disintegrated into the sauce that it looked green like pesto. It was sub par at best. There was nothing else served with this dish either. Just a lone, lonely round chafing dish by itself and nothing else. I picked up a sandwich in the airport the next day instead. A few days later they had bbq airline chicken breast. I was like "wow" real food. I arrived 30 minutes after they opened so I was hopeful it would be decent. It was dry as heck. The bbq sauce was good, but the meat was dry cardboard. There was some sort of stuffing under the skin of the chicken, I think cheese and maybe spinach. Again, glad I don't have food allergies or an intolerance to things like dairy. No signage up to identify what was in it. Next day I sit at the bar, ordered wings and flatbread on happy hour. Wings were decent, big, meaty, buffalo sauce typical pre-made product, nothing to complain about. Flat bread was dry and the crust had somewhat of a stale old taste to it. Average at best. Bar fly situation while eating...... if swatting away bar flies while you eat is your jam, then this is the spot to be! Noticed the "stuffed chicken breast" on the bar menu, and guessed that the bbq chicken served in the bonvoy lounge was probably a result of no one ordering the chicken in the bar so they used it in the lounge before it went bad. I have been a Marriot guest for more years than I remember. I have stayed at Marriots globally. This is the worst "Marriot Hotel" I have ever stayed in. And, the bar/chef/culinary manager should be fired. The food they serve, especially in the bonvoy lounge is horrible. The lack of allergen safety is bad and a law suit waiting to happen. This is a busy hotel. They should be cranking out great food. But this is a saddest representation of the Marriot brand and I hope this is the last time I need to stay here for work. Giving 2 stars strictly because of the friendly staff.

If you need to be in Philly for a short period of time and want to just get in and out easily, then this is the perfect hotel for you! Looks like your typical Marriott, lots of browns with a little red. Has a good restaurant and bar. I will say rooms are clean but in need of updating. And the employees here are super nice.

No security measures here. A flight attendant was found deceased in a hotel room here and no one is doing anything to find out who did it ! There's no security footage anywhere and no one is bringing awareness to the situation or trying to give Diana Ramos justice!!

Workout room was great Location is best for picking up Hertz car as walk across street Only 3 stars because only one elevator Huge wait time Leaving heard man say on elevator had to use freight last nite. Hopefully next stay has all 4 working !

A tad pricey for what you get: Relatively small hotel rooms with a somewhat dated feel to it - but it's clean. Mostly what you want though is a place CLOSE to the airport. And, you can't get closer than literally in the airport. Things that went really well: We pulled right up to the entry. My wife stayed in the car with one of the kids while I checked in and unloaded. The staff said it was okay to leave the car, but with kids things can take a while so I didn't want to risk pushing it. The room was great, so wife took the two kids up to the room, and I took the car to long term parking with Wally. It was a 5 minute drive, and the shuttle got me back in 5 minutes - so 15 minutes there and back, including time for me to make sure the car was okay to be left for a week (lights off etc). The other great part was the morning - we were able to get up a bit later for our flight. The second floor of the hotel opens into a breezeway that brings you right to the terminal B's baggage drop off (one escalator to deal with - but I think an elevator was there too). There is a hotel shuttle to take you to the other terminals if needed. Complaints: A little bit dated, with water damage on our ceiling. If it wasn't late and we were only there one day, I would have asked for another room. It looked like a leak that had not been addressed yet. They only had two sets of towels, despite me checking in for 4 people (2 kids, 2 adults) - every other marriott I've stayed in adjusts for this. It's not a huge thing, but with a short turn around, it meant wasting time at the front desk waiting for towels (kids were asleep, so I didn't want them dropped off). No complimentary breakfast, which a lot of the other hotels in the area do. Would I stay there again? Maybe - not having to deal with shuttles in the morning was amazing. So, if I'm leaving from terminal B - I probably would, but I might try another hotel otherwise.

I stayed here one night. This place has some very good customer service and food and bar items. That is where the fun ends in this old, tired and outdated hotel. It should be demolished and re-built...and that includes the 1980's font of the Marriott sign on the front of the hotel. Pros: -The only airport at PHL that has complete covered walkways from the terminal all the way through to the registration desk. -The staff. Exceptional. Top-notch! Without exception. From the check-in staff to the bartender to the restaurant server. Cons: -This location feels more like a motel than a superior product like Marriott. The price isn't commensurate with the experience. -Dirty. I felt the need to shower once I checked-in...then I realized I was in the shower! Conclusion. It's close to the airport and convenient. The staff is stellar and they even have a great sundries/Starbuck's store that sells a variety of things including beer and wine. The food at the restaurant was very good. The room itself (see photos) had many issues including 1980's popcorn ceiling, large stains on the wall and a lamp that would constantly fall over. Again, the bed itself was very comfortable and sleep wasn't an issue.

The one star applies to customer service. I've placed several calls over the past 6 mths , trying to get reimbursed for a mischarge on my card. it feels like they're trying to exhaust me to the point of giving up. I canceled a room that I had booked for early July of '24 , within cancellation time, and still was charged. Speaking w several people over the past 6 mths, I was reassured time and again that I'd be credited and that someone would reach out to me. It's now April of '25 and I'm still waiting for either or both. $229.25 is hardly a drop in the bucket for this company but is certainly worth a mortgage payment, a car payment or a few wks of groceries for me. A huge disappointment for sure. I doubt I'll hear from them and will have to take this hit. Just such a bummer. Thanks, Marriott
