Have bought slices only so far from their extensive menu of many 9ther options. 4 slices over 2 visits. However exciting the varied toppings are, each was dried out from sitting a long while. The pizzas are thoroughly cooked originally and set out on display so, when reheated, they get overdone. Each needed more sauce, and less overcooking and then the creative toppings could shine through. Perhaps not an issue if you order a whole pie made from scratch and delivered hot. I'm still determined to try other things on their enticing menu before passing final judgements. Disappointed that tonight's slices were dry as a bone. Adding my own sauce moistened it up and added back some flavor but the toppings were still tasteless dried out.

Newer pizza spot right off South St with both Roma and NY style slices and pies, along with a variety of other sandwiches and other options on the menu. The chef / owner is so welcoming and happy to showcase his shop and the pizza for display. They also have a section selling various Italian goods, snacks, and treats. Ample amount of tables to sit inside, and also a few outside as well. They also have their own dedicated delivery car. Have tried the soppressata and pepperoni ricotta slices on two different trips. Both very good, though a touch dry from being reheated. Very tasty and savory, the ingredients are good quality and the pizza is made with care. Haven't tried the NY style slices yet. The various options of toppings and styles seem sure to please anyone whether you want veggies, meat, or both. Would want to try a fresh made pizza. Thanks

Great addition to the neighborhood. Pizzas and sandwiches are top tier. I prefer their pies to other options in the area as well. We will definitely come back for more. Try the sfilatini as well - unique and very tasty. We've tried the mushroom and the Popeyes-both great options.

I've already been here a handful of times and let me tell you, I'm so impressed! They have great prices for by the slice or you can get a whole pie. So much variety in toppings and they constantly cycle in new stuff. The owner and employees are also so friendly and kind to talk to. you can tell that everyone who works here truly cares about their employees, their customers, and the integrity of the food that they serve. i never go out of my way to write reviews but they absolutely deserve! in a city where the pizza markets is so competitive, you gotta try Puglias! 10/10.

Finally able to try the new addition to the neighborhood. I got the New York style pepperoni. Light sauce and crispy crust which is how I like it. Friendly staff and quick service. I love the mini market with fun Italian treats to try. Will be back to try more!

Little Italian Hole-in-the-wall pizza places can be so hit or miss but Puglia Pizza hits it out of the park. My friend and I tried getting lunch down South street during Oktoberfest and kept striking out. We had a train to catch! The festival needed waits in two lines, first for tokens then food. The restaurants were doir open but no fans running and just hot! Like 80 degrees. We were just about out of luck and going to have to survive on Amtrak food when we saw Puglia. Fans running breezy and cool, clean neat dining area, family environment. There were about 15 pies to choose from for pizza by the slice, my friend got that and was in New York style pizza heaven. I got the Itslian Sub and never had better. The price was totally fair for the amount of food, and my only regret was not getting a dessert. We felt welcomed and valued for stopping in. Center City support this place!!!

There is a wide variety of pizzas, and everyone I try was delicious. I particularly like the square pizza with eggplant, but the mushrooms is also good. The people that work here are knowledgeable and extremely nice.

Different Cheesesteak #1229. Nice, clean, new place. I assume it was the owner teaching the young women how to work the cash register. The Pizza looked amazing. The Parking Meter man got a slice. I got a cheesesteak with fried onions. $14.55 after tax, You know I love that!! I got the seeded roll. I liked it. Crispy crust and light, airy bread. Decent amount of meat. The fried onions were raw-esque. It had a good amount of cheese, but it needs a touch better distribution. Good cheesesteak. To be a great cheesesteak, I think it needs flavor from the meat and onions.
