Went there on a Thursday afternoon, only to be confronted by a dancer by the name of Simone after some small fall and close encounters she immediately started kissing my neck for around 2 minute and moaning then stared licking the inside of my right . Just. Do not come here. Went here with the bae and was disappointed by lackluster dances, overpriced alcohol ($7 per beer). We were approached by multiple aggressive dancers who couldn't read that we were clearly discomforted by their advances. I get that as a dancer you need to be proactive, but if your target is not positively receptive to your actions, clearly your ideal client is someone else. Also, the ATM charges a 10% (yep, 10%) fee. Huh?!

This is a normal hang spot me and the feels to catch a game or just kick back and chill. Friendly no Hassling or Pressure the girls are cool. The bartender is the best funny and always involved in the fun.

Go to ANY other strip club, this place is a total scam. The girls lie, the creepy bald guy up front sticks up for them, and then you owe $100 more for no reason at all. Avoid at all costs.

A smaller club, somewhere between the size of the Gold Club and the Oasis just down the street. Less of a super sleazy feeling to it than Show n Tel on Delaware Ave, but hey, that's not too difficult. No cover the Sunday night I walked in to check it out. One stage with two poles pretty much at ground level in the middle of a rectangular bar (not sure why they didn't bother to raise it up a bit). Beers are cheap, so it's got that going for it. $20 and $30 dances, or so the girl told me. I did not partake. Rather uninspired performances from a wide range of girls (from "Damn! I hope that stage is concrete reinforced!" to "Damn! Your beautiful so why don't you dance a bit instead of just wiggling while staring into your own dead eyes in the mirror." If you're really looking for a club w/ black women try the Oasis just down the street. It has a good mix of girls AND it's less depressing.

Don't understand previous reviewer's impressions of "depressing" and "sleazy." None of these strip joints is a fern bar, open and airy with chamber music wafting around, but I find this place quite comfortable. Bartenders are accommodating (I often order just a tonic on the rocks), wide variety of shapes and sizes of the girls, who are just pushy enough on their rounds after their sets, with a hand on your thigh and a kiss on your cheek. $20 lap dances are pretty tame, but get a $30 dance and hand her $40 as you enter the VIP room, or $60 for a double and give her $70 up front, and you'll get a great bump-n-grind, even better the second time you pick her, on a later visit. Place is much better than the very mechanical and unsmiling behavior in Oasis, Show-n-Tel, or Venus Video down the street . Music too loud for conversation as always in these joints, but bearable. No cover until 7:00 PM (I think).

As a straight woman, I tend to be very critical of "gentleman's" clubs. After reading the only review of the purple Orchid by "Jack C" I had to put in my two cents worth. I LOVE this club. There are a large array of nationalities of women and most of them are very beautiful. Whatever kind of lady you like is there for you. It's small and intimate so you can spend as much time with the ladies as you like. Everyone that I've encountered there (bouncers, dancers, bartenders, DJ's, etc.) have been very nice and down-to-earth. The cover charge is low. The booze is average priced, and honestly, are you there to get drunk or have gorgeous women all around you? As far as the "couch" dances, I've been to clubs that charge you much more for much less. You will NOT get a better lap dance than at the Orchid. So, If you'd like to take your man out and get him excited and enjoy yourself also, the Purple Orchid is the place to go. Go find out for yourself!

hood club. girls have pool tricks out of the ass and many of them have been working there for years. most of the girls won't approach a new face because they have a clientele. drinks are cheap, and this is the type of place to come in a duo.
