Very clean Hugh and well decorated. OMG I never saw such a large buffet. I went for dinner. Any food you can imagine was on buffet. Especially loved the whole lobster and claws and assortment of seafood. Also had Chinese and American foods. All items were plentiful and hot. Servers were always clearing the table of plates and discarded food remains. Will certainly tell all my friends about this place and definitely come again

I was craving some home cooked Chinese meal and this place did not disappoint and it was one of the best Chinese buffet I had in a while with great quality seafood. I came here with Mom and we both requested we need to come there again for round two. If we come to a Chinese buffet two days in a row that's how is you how good it is. We are actually visiting from California and it's one of the best Chinese seafood buffet I had in the East Coast. . When you walk into the restaurant they actually greet you and they ask you how many people and if there's any seniors. And then we go to the front of the line and they will take you to your seat. . For senior price it is $33.99 and a regular adult will be $38.99 and this is for the dinner buffet on a Saturday and Sunday which is all day only. I came here around 5:00 p.m. on a Sunday and there was no wait. Around 6:00 p.m. there is about 50 to 75 people winning outside so I recommend coming in earlier to avoid the wait line. . The highlights I really like is they have a whole steam lobster. Also they have the ginger scallion stir fry Lobster which was so tender and so fresh and so flavorful. They even have oxtail as well and those were amazing and they were oxtails stew. I also like how they have fresh steam sea bass it was also where Ginger and scallion and it was very flavorful and the fish was tender I had a big plate of that. They also have your small clams to big clams and even snails and crab legs they got the cold crab leg and hot crab leg as well. They even have your cold Lobster Claw as well. They have your Steam butter mussels. . I really like their pork veggie potstickers which was very tender and I do like the flavor of the meat inside. . There are soup selection is really great I do like the crab with fish Maw soup. Also they got this herbal chicken soup which was amazing and authentic. They even have your white fungus soup which was amazing and is great for cold weather. . So the buffet line is one straight line it is crazy because there's a lot of people coming from behind left and right so just be careful and if you are claustrophobic which might be a little issue. . If you're looking for a good Chinese buffet with good quality and cooking with love this is the place to go to the food is amazing and tasted so good that we came here two days in a row. I recommend coming here earlier before 6:00 p.m. to avoid the dinner crowd. . Also did you have your Boba milk cheese to your soft drinks in a bottle like peach tea and orange honey tea and Etc. . Overall this is a Chinese buffet that I am looking forward to and I would come back again when I'm visiting. Mind you not I was coming here two days in a row and driving one hour away from Atlantic City and it was so worth the drive just to eat here. Friday night and it was full house. You're limited to 2-hours but it wasn't so busy that they stuck to that because we must have been there for 3 hours. They don't seat you til your entire party is there, and no reservations. Quite a number of tables celebrating birthdays. They come around and sing along to a pre-recorded tune. Lots of families, cute kiddos. After a while, we all clapped and sang along. Loved the huuuuuuge variety. The 3 other adults at my table all had lobster (and seconds). I'm not as bowled over with steamed lobster dunked in butter. Me, a bigger fan of strong flavors, I perused the offerings first before starting with the hot items. Paced myself with SMALL helping of each item that caught my eye. I didn't try every item, just ones that piqued my interest. There was PLENTY that I tried, maybe 1/2 the offerings. And most of my choices were pretty tasty, definitely good enough for seconds if i could without totally gorging. If I could, I would have had many more helpings of the Peking Duck, skewered meat and shrimp, garlic green beans, sashimi, dragon rolls, ginger scallion lobster, BBQ ribs, Korean short ribs, among others. Garlic spinach was amazing; must have had 3 or 4 helpings of spinach, tender and bright green, not over-cooked. Almost tried the crawdads, but didn't want to get my fingers all dirty. (BTW, suggest skipping the brisket). Chocolate cake was good, really really wanted ice cream but already too full after 3 full plates of entree's, and a plate of fresh fruit (pineapple, dragonfruit, cantaloupe, honeydew, orange.) $38.99/adult, smaller kids at half price, $5 off for seniors (65). ALOT of food, so next time, we'll go for lunch which is about half of dinner pricing. They might not offer some premium items such as lobster, but we're not there for that anyway. See the photos already posted. Lobster, crab legs, lots of shrimp in a variety of ways, steamed fish, teriyaki salmon and white tuna (my favorite sashimi that absolutely melts in your mouth; the Scottish salmon sashimi was great too.) Definitely going back !!

Seating: fast for a party of two. I notice the lines were long for group seating. Food: Selection is like any regular buffet minus the whole lobster. They do hand you the lobster so you don't take it all in one sitting. It's as large as a plate. My take: I attend a lot of buffet from different states so I can tell you that the selection is the same as any Chinese buffet that you've been to. It's a great place to eat if you're in the mood for a lobster meal because if you're eating everything else, it's not worth $30-40. The lobster makes up for the price, so yeah take that as you will. The place is large. It's the old Toys R Us building, so you can imagine the square footage. Since the building is huge, the noise echos. Therefore, yes the place gets crowded and noisy. There is a lot of seating. The buffet line starts all the way at the bathroom which is all the way to the back. The layout is straight, unlike the other buffets where they have food selection in blocks. This is more of a galley line, which means it should be in a line from front to back. People were coming from all sides, so you can't get the food until they move or leave the line. The other side of the line is where the kitchen is, so imagine a school cafeteria or a galley. I almost gave up waiting on some food because people were coming from all sides and you're like "okay" I'll come back. Sometimes I'll forget because once I walk back up, people were meeting in the middle again lol. It's like driving. There's an enter and exit strategy. Okay enough with the line, which is basically why I gave the place a three star. It's a little disorganized for a buffet with a lot of seats. Enter --------. Exit Now if you have people coming in like this: Enter --------. .-------- Enter You'll never get nowhere so you'll have to skip some food until the coast is kind of clear. Plus there's hundred of people there so having one singular line for the buffet is not a great way to reduce crowd control. That's just my thought.

Pulling through the parking lot we hesitated majorly.. but once you walk in you feel like you are in a completely different area. The restaurant feels upscale inside, with beautiful lighting and a huge buffet layout. The seating is nice and spaced out so you don't feel crowded. The food was constantly refilled. We went for dinner which includes lobsters, sushimi, oysters etc. Worth the price. No need to jump up and wait in line for lobsters, they have a TON and always have them stocked, Service was fast with servers everywhere. The place is clean. We will definitely be making the drive back to come again

Wow this buffet is large - lobster, crab, shrimp, sushi, scallop, oysters, etc. normally buffets that offer these expensive items only bring out a few at a time and make people wait, but this place has everything fully in stock at all times. Plus, soft drinks, asian drinks, and dessert included! The only thing we didn't enjoy about this place was the absolute chaos; it is crowded, tight, and super loud inside. Plus the floors, tables, and chairs are all greasy. Will definitely recommend this place but not during peak times!

Fairly nice buffet with an enormous selection to choose from. Stopped in for the midday lunch special for $19.99 which is an extraordinary deal. I tried a small bit of everything and there were a few misses but most things were good enough. Sushi was decent for buffet style, and sashimi very fresh. All fruit was nicely cut and fresh. All the seafood I found could have been kept hotter on the buffet, as it's lukewarm. Dim sum selections were average. Also they have skewers and grill section which were seasoned nicely. Many western food buffet options but I skipped those. (Pizza, Mac and cheese, mashed potato, etc.) There is also a drink, tea, and dessert section as well with many options though I'd skip the desserts. I'd say this is an amazing deal for lunch special, but a bit more average for standard dinner price. Pretty good though, thanks.

Royal Buffet is a great experience if you love a seafood buffet. All of the treasures of the sea are well made and ready to be enjoyed to their fullest, including scallops, mussels, clams, crab, lobster, and more. I personally ate 3 whole lobsters, tons of crab legs, sashimi, and more. The place does get crowded very quickly and often has a very long line, so do try to come before the dinner rush, as service can slow down a bit when things get too packed. However, they do a good job keeping the place clean and welcoming regardless. All in all I would definitely recommend all seafood lovers to give this place a shot!

Thank god we went for the lunch which was $23 pp - it is def not worth it for their dinner prices. Tbh i didnt have high expectations bc when a buffet offers so much, its hard to maintain quality/flavor. Everything was pretty one note and designed to make you feel shitty afterwards, haha. The reason it went viral on social media was because of their wide offering of meat - but the steak was welldone/gray, the beef satay needed more flavor, and i couldnt even spot the lamb chops anywhere. The fried chicken was dry, too. The seafood options are wide ranging, but honestly by the time i was done my meat courses, i was underwhelmed and wanted to skeddadle... im sure there are some wins in there like their sushi which looked p good and the different types of fish offered.
