Well lit, considerate manager, great selection. I read the reviews and was a bit reluctant. Very pleased

They have a really good selection of food options. It's a little out of my way, but I still stop in. I found more recently. I've been going there to find items that I haven't easily found elsewhere for the price. The store is well lit, items are fresh, and isles are wide. Customer service skills is where this store takes a hit. Out of the last 3/4 visits, I've encountered employees that prob shouldn't be in a job related to customer service. Dawn is definitely one of them. Due to all the grocery store options in the area, it's unlikely that I will return. The security guard at the exit was very nice, however, it didn't swing the pendulum enough to outweigh the negative experiences I've had here.

Those Brown's ShopRite sweet potato pies gonna be trouble for my diabetes. We bought sweet potato pie for Christmas dinner with my in-laws. Excellent idea. If you're not baking homemade sweet potato pie look for these. Caution there's an imposter pie that doesn't have the same taste or texture... it is cheaper and lighter in color/flavor. Do not make that mistake. . It looks and tastes like pumpkin pie

This is my main supermarket only because I've been using it for so long. It's what I'm accustomed too- but whoever does the hiring should probably be fired . There's a handful of nice people there-but most of the employees are just so rude. It's insane. Outside of that though it's a good supermarket . Also, I always think of people in the bakery for extra friendly, especially the gentleman working in there yesterday and today.

This store is an absolute disgrace. The store itself is disgusting and in a complete state of disarray and customer service is non existent. In fact, the staff are mostly rude and insulting. The competition is too great around here to accept this store as an option. Avoid at all costs. 3rd and Oregon location is decent but royalty in comparison.

I WILL NOT step foot in the Shoprite located at 24th Oregon ever again. Long ago, it was a delightful staple to the community, however, it has become run down and dirty, displaying rotten and damaged produce as soon as you enter the store. Just 48 hours before I left this review, I went to the deli section at this location to get two items. I asked that the deli (turkey) be sliced paper thin. I get my deli this way at Shoprite, 3rd & Oregon, and Drexeline Shopping Center with no issue. The young guy proceeded to actually argue with me about the request, ultimately giving me something that looked like chopped dog food. Additionally, in the past, I've had to request a glove change and/or switch slicers to avoid contamination. This same person decided not to cut my deli but instead SPAT twice in the trashcan in front of the deli case and demanded that someone else take my order. The selection of items in the store is slim to none and customer service, overall, is sorely lacking. Needless to say, I reported this experience to the manager on duty, but only as a formality. I WILL TAKE MY HARD-EARNED MONEY ELSEWHERE. Close this ghetto location.

I cannot believe I thought I would give this Shoprite another chance, but I did. This time was way worse. I wwalked in and went right for the delivery counter because I needed a few things and there was only on guy behind the main counter but there was 3 others behind the area to the left of the counters where the sinks were and a wall that could see around tto the main counter. There was a doorway coming into the outside towards the produce which a gentleman was standing there with the door open. Now that I set the picture here it goes. I walked up to the counter where the gentleman there was helping a young lady. I waited with no problem. The gentleman knew I was standing there make no mistake to that. Know I was only stand around 10 minutes but that's OK. When he was done taking care of the lady. He then turned to the side towards the seafood area and said ok guys I'm on my break and left with me standing there like a Jack ass. He didn't let the others know I was standing there but I did think they did notice me. You would think the gentleman would haleaat least said to me the others working would be right there to help me and told thethem. I received nothing. Customer service is out the door. This place is terrible. I walked right out and went to Sprouts right across the street. I should have remembered they opened down here before it looked this incident to remember. As soon as a butcher saw I needed something he got the person to help me in that department I'll be going there for now on an the Grocery Outlet, they are great with nice people. This is the same owner at this Shoprite that was running for Mayor. Thank God he lost. If he cannot serve people he makes money off what would he be doing to the city.

This store has really gone downhill in the last year. Golden rule # 1, DON'T buy fruit here. All the negative comments are absolutely correct. Peaches just rot, not ripen, apples are horrid and their vegetable prices are not a bargain. They do open early but are totally unprepared, staff still stocking shelves, no fresh bakery products and meat doesn't get stocked until around 8.30AM. The fish department is a joke. The guy, Dominic, who oversees it, is a total moron! He has no idea about fish in general, is totally uninformed about what's fresh daily, (it always looks as if it's been lying around for days). This used to be my go to supermarket but no more!

This places bakery is TRASH!!! You'd have a better chance of getting a good looking case from Hellen Keller herself! I had a small issue with a cake and politely pointed it out. The customer service, or lack of, was just atrocious! The manager at customer service needs to learn manners and how to have a conversation like an adult. I'll be taking my business somewhere else -- hire better leaders ShopRite!
