Self check out is atrocious. "Please place item in bagging area" followed immediately by "unexpected item in bagging area" which is it?????! Self check out is supposed to be easy and this Shop Rite's self check out is the worst I've ever used.

I visited this store last week. I was inside the store at 9:30pm, I thought they close at 11pm. By 9:50pm was at the register, I had 4 identical items, on sale, but was told it is the incorrect item code. I asked the cashier if he could go grab the item with the correct code, but the manager, told him not to go check for the item, and she told me, that "we are closed now". Very callous people. The other shoprite is too far, otherwise, I would not go back to this store. I did not look around if I was the last customer.

First time is the charm I guess... everything went fine(for a Monday), I guess that's one of the better days to go. Parking wasn't bad, plus they carried many of the specialty items I used to get elsewhere.

Store is very clean, not overly crowded & too small like some supermarkets. Plenty of parking. I was buying a grill that was a little heavy for me. While I was trying to figure out how I was going to get this thing to my SUV, James C. was right there to get a flat cart to put it on. He & a manager (didn't get his name), lifted this into the cart. After I paid for it, they wheeled it out to my SUV and place it in there. Kudos to these fine gentlemen & the ShopRite staff!! Thank you!!

This store is the worst!! Don't do an order from here!! They charged me for items that were not delivered!! And then had to call for a refund!!

Ive been going to this store for 2 yrs now.When I first started going it was great in every way.But now Ive found its the worst store for produceand a lot of the shelf items are expired especially the yogurt and cheeses.Except for the older cashiers. the really young ones dont know how to service the customers.They dont bag your items and seem to be lost in space dont speak and have no manners.Meats are ok but dont have. a great fish selection.Never have scallops.Dont know how to cut the fish.Recently went and the produce was soaked with water empty bins with nothing in them and the onions I bought had to be thrown out they were so old.Very disapointed.Havevto find a new store.Too many issues.

The only reason, and I mean the only reason, I ever order from shoprite is a specific cut of pork chop, the rib end and or assorted cuts. Sounds crazy and believe me I know. Anybody remember "assorted cuts"? Seriously, they were the best. A bit more fat and bones but after a long braise with onions they are fork tender and fall off the bone. Seriously delectable! I really don't like center cut chops. That simple. Ok, so when I order from shoprite that's what I want. Well, that and eggs. I can't imaging walking into shoprite today (I had an order delivered today) and not finding a single dozen of eggs or packages of chops on the shelves. Really? Besides that they have the highest delivery charges anywhere.

Not sure why this place is always packed! Prices seemed to be hiked up with no sort of deals on anything. I came in during the start of this corona virus quarantine and came with my mom and sisters to grab some things to stock up on. Big mistake coming here, the prices are terrible, I usually go to Acme and get like 2 boxed of cereal for 5 bucks--- but not here- 4 or more for just one box. Kinda insane. I'm not sure if they hiked up prices because of everything that is going on or what---but seemed criminal to pay that much for cereal. When it came to service, the cashier was miserable and didnt say hello or anything.

The last thing I want to do is accuse someone of being racist but, I have no other choice. I been going to this Shop Rite for 9 years and spend about 200 a week on food and wine. On a Sunday about a couple of months ago I was confronted by an employee who appeared to be the manager, he said to me that is a Kosher chicken we have regular ones over by the Deli. I told him I prefer this chicken. I could hear him muttered oh he must be rich. I wouldn't have a problem with the guy if he had said the other chickens are cheaper but, no you could see the anger in his eyes as if to say the Kosher chickens are for the Jewish people and not for the blacks
